If there is one place I love going it’s Boots. I love having a browse and seeing all of the new releases, as well as all of the classics. That is why I’ve been avoiding it for a while, as I wanted to have a successful low buy. Spoiler alert: it went very well so I decided to treat myself to some new bits. Which probably defeats the purpose of a low buy…
This is my Boots Beauty Haul
Maybelline | Super Stay Better Skin Foundation
I picked this foundation up on a whim, as I haven’t heard anything about it, but I love Maybelline. This foundation is new to the market and I picked up the shade 005 light beige which is the lightest one they offer. What drew me to this foundation is the claim to have instantly better skin in three weeks, which is a huge claim. I’ll have to see how I get on with it
Maybelline | Colour Sensational Lipstick 418 Peach Poppy
I love the Colour Sensational lipsticks, and when I saw this colour I knew I had to add it to my collection. Peach Poppy is a light peach that leans slightly pink. If it’s anything like the other shades I have from this line then it has a creamy finish which means it doesn’t last very long, but it’s slightly more comfortable than a matte finish.
Maybelline | Lash Sensational Mascara
I have been very excited to try this, as I have seen lots of rave reviews so hopefully it works for me. The packaging is also really pretty, as I love the rose gold tube. This mascara claims to lengthen the lashes as well as multiply so I am very much looking forward to giving this a go.
Rimmel | 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora Peachella
Can you tell that I have been loving peach lately? As soon as I saw this colour I fell in love, it is such a beautiful shade of peach. I’ve not tried Rimmel nail polish before, so I’m looking forward to seeing how well these last and how easy they are to apply.
Rimmel | 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora Roll in the Grass
I’m not quite sure what was going through my head when I bought this. Well, at the time I thought it would be nice to try something different, as I don’t own a green nail polish, but now I’m not too sure. I’ll still give this a try and see how I like it, as it’s nothing like anything I’ve tried before.
Rimmel | Oh My Gloss Lip Gloss – Purrr… Glossy Cat
First of all, the name? Purrr? I don’t know it feels a little cringe to me, it should have been left at Glossy Cat. Anyway other than that I’m very much looking forward to trying this. I know mattes are on trend at the minute, but they’re too drying for me, so I’m hoping a gloss on top should help. This shade is a beautiful pinky colour.
Batiste | Dry Shampoo Tropical
Batiste is a staple in my collection, as I use it all of the time. It’s a life saver for in-between washes and really helps the appearance of greasy hair. Even though it does leave a white cast, so it’s best to use sparingly.
There we have it, that was my Boots Beauty Haul. I’m still not sure why I picked up that green nail polish, but I’m looking forward to trying it nevertheless.
