Let’s get into the Lush Frozen Bath Bomb Review!
I decided to try Frozen, as I had yet to try it, and I do love a good bright blue bath. I don’t know why I hadn’t gotten around to trying this before, but better late than never.
Frozen was inspired by the recent Disney film Frozen. Hence the name and the frosty looking exterior. That is really simple yet really pretty to look at.
I’m not going to lie, I absolutely hate the smell of this. As soon as I opened the package it was completely over powering, so that is the main reason why I have used it so quickly, so the scent wouldn’t linger in my room or where I keep my bath bombs.
I think Grapefruit oil is a pretty big player in this, and that could explain why I didn’t like the scent, as I’m not a fan of grapefruit. There’s also a mix of Rose oil and Neroli Oil. This is a combination that just doesn’t work for me, which is the danger of ordering bath bombs online I guess.
I’m pretty sure I mentioned something similar in my Yoga Bomb Review
, but don’t be put off from simple looking exteriors. The icy blue slowly starts to fizz away, whilst the darker blue dissolves a little quicker. These shades combine to make a gorgeous deep blue colour.
In The Water
When I say the darker blue dissolves a lot quicker, it really does. The icy blue parts were still fizzing away when I got in, where as the dark blue had completely dissolved.
This bath bomb does contain glitter, not as much as Intergalactic
, but it has some. It did stain my bath afterwards, but nothing a quick rinse wouldn’t fix.
I personally wouldn’t repurchase as I prefer intergalactic out of the two, (They are pretty similar colour wise), but if you like the smell of grapefruit this will be right up your alley!
Have you tried this bath bomb?
