It seems like these favourites post are coming out really quickly each time, but it’s the end of the month, so it’s time for the monthly favourites post! I’ve also not really tried any new products this month, so rounding up a selection is proving to be difficult.
Too Faced | Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette
I’ve included this in favourites before, but I have gotten back into using it lately, so it made perfect sense to include it here. I have been keeping things simple, and only using two of the shades which has been a nice change from using three or more. I just think this palette is extremely wearable, which is what I’m after in a palette. The shades are extremely pigmented and pack on extremely well, but also blend out just as easily.
The Body Shop | Lightening Drops
I’ve been really struggling with foundations lately they’re either too dark or too orange, so it made sense to try this out. The only thing with this is the dropper doesn’t work very well, so I often end up having to pour some out and hope for the best. It definitely really helps to lighten foundations.
Benefit | Hoola Bronzer
I bought this not long before the announcement of Hoola Light which was a bit gutting, as I would have definitely bought the lighter version. Hoola is a matte dark bronzer that lasts all day and applies nicely. I don’t apply too much, but you could easily apply more to get a stronger look. (Also really struggled with the photography of this, if you can’t already tell)
Yankee Candle | Cherry Blossom
I think this was a new candle for Spring, but I’m pretty sure it’s still available. I love everything about this candle from the scent, the colour and the packaging. It kicks off a lot of scent, not like some candles when all you can smell is burning and not the actual scent. I have no idea how to describe scents, so here are the fragrance notes off the Yankee website. Top: Cherry. Mid: Rose, Cherry Blossom and Jasmine. Base: Powdery Musk and Sandalwood.
What have you been loving throughout May?
