I thought it might be fun and a little bit different to talk through my nightly routine, as I don’t think I’ve ever done a routine post on my blog before! In this post I’ll be running through the things I like to do on a typical night to wind down and get ready for bed.
If there’s one thing I’ll definitely be doing and that’s watching some kind of TV, whether its actual TV or something on YouTube or Netflix. I would watch a lot more TV if I had a TV that worked, as mine currently isn’t working, so I’m finding it extremely difficult at the minute, so I’m lusting over the Panasonic 4K TV! There are so many to pick from, and any TV with a HDMI is a winner with me!
With some background noise from the TV, I’ll be blogging. Whether that’s writing a post, editing a post, replying to comments or commenting on others blogs. I just find it so much easier to do it in an evening/ at night. I’ll really struggle with ideas and writing during the day, but the later it gets the easier I find it. On Sunday and Wednesday nights, I treat myself to an exciting time of scheduling tweets. (It’s tedious and not fun at all)
If I’m still wearing makeup at this point I’ll make sure it’s all removed with my Garnier Micellar water, as I find it removes everything extremely well, and I’m not one for switching things up. I’ve found something that works and I’m sticking to it. At this point I’ll change into pyjamas.
Skin Care Routine
Guess who is finally start to develop a skin care routine?! I will admit that this doesn’t happen every night, but I’m trying. I use the Vitamin E range from the Body Shop, as I find it the best for my skin type, as I suffer with dry skin. I use the Cream Cleanser to remove any extra makeup. I then use a toner, by putting some onto a cotton pad and smoothing all over my face. Finally I finish with moisturiser, and I’m currently using a night cream from Dr Botanicals. I also forgot to mention, but before any of this happens I’ll brush my teeth.
I then get into bed and have one last look at social media, being sure to check Twitter and Instagram. Then catching up on the videos in my subscription box on YouTube until I fall asleep.
