Nightly Routine!*

I thought it might be fun and a little bit different to talk through my nightly routine, as I don’t think I’ve ever done a routine post on my blog before! In this post I’ll be running through the things I like to do on a typical night to wind down and get ready for bed.

Watching TV

If there’s one thing I’ll definitely be doing and that’s watching some kind of TV, whether its actual TV or something on YouTube or Netflix. I would watch a lot more TV if I had a TV that worked, as mine currently isn’t working, so I’m finding it extremely difficult at the minute, so I’m lusting over the Panasonic 4K TV! There are so many to pick from, and any TV with a HDMI is a winner with me!

Blogging

With some background noise from the TV, I’ll be blogging. Whether that’s writing a post, editing a post, replying to comments or commenting on others blogs. I just find it so much easier to do it in an evening/ at night. I’ll really struggle with ideas and writing during the day, but the later it gets the easier I find it. On Sunday and Wednesday nights, I treat myself to an exciting time of scheduling tweets. (It’s tedious and not fun at all)

Remove Makeup

If I’m still wearing makeup at this point I’ll make sure it’s all removed with my Garnier Micellar water, as I find it removes everything extremely well, and I’m not one for switching things up. I’ve found something that works and I’m sticking to it. At this point I’ll change into pyjamas.

Skin Care Routine 

Guess who is finally start to develop a skin care routine?! I will admit that this doesn’t happen every night, but I’m trying. I use the Vitamin E range from the Body Shop, as I find it the best for my skin type, as I suffer with dry skin. I use the Cream Cleanser to remove any extra makeup. I then use a toner, by putting some onto a cotton pad and smoothing all over my face. Finally I finish with moisturiser. I also forgot to mention, but before any of this happens I’ll brush my teeth. Social Media

I then get into bed and have one last look at social media, being sure to check Twitter and Instagram. Then catching up on the videos in my subscription box on YouTube until I fall asleep.

    I know what you mean about how tedious it is to schedule tweets, I often used to forgot! Although, at the moment I just do it throughout the day 🙂 My night time routine is catching up with blogs, and then before bed the Pixi Glow, followed by TBS facial oil or a serum and night cream xx

      Doing them throughout the day is such a good idea! I tend to do lots at a time to get it out of the way. You have such a good routine! I really want to try the Pixi Glow!xx

      I found The Body Shop to be a good place to start, as it isn’t too expensive, but the quality is there too! Plus there is so much to pick from! Blogging at night is much more inspirational haha!xx

    I have a similar night routine and need to stick to my skincare routine otherwise, my skin really is impacted by it. I’ve tried the bodyshop vitamin e toner, and did not really like it perhaps of the smell, consistency or being maybe too rich for my skin.

    It’s funny how alike out routines are! I watch TV then use it as a bit of background noise as I blog/browse the internet and then I use Garnier’s micellar water to remove my make-up! The only difference is the body shop products, which actually, I have been dying to try!

    Argh the fun of scheduling tweets! I think it’s probably a good idea that you have a routine of doing it, I definitely need to get into one myself as it’s not a good feeling when you wake up and realise you have nothing scheduled for that day! I always use YouTube to help me drift off to sleep too hehe!

    The Body Shop Vitamin E is such a lovely range! I always found it really soothing when I was using it! If you haven’t already replaced your TV, watch out for deals on Argos and Amazon! We got a TV that would normally be out of our price range because it was on some epic deal 🙂

    Garnier Micellar Water is my favourite product in this whole world! Plus, I too love the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop – I would recommend the Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet for dry skin, it works wonders for me and is in my skincare routine along with Garnier Micellar Water <3
