Beauty Wishlist

I’ve been on a spending ban for a couple of months now, and I’m doing surprisingly well. I have bought three new makeup items in that time, but I was after a new foundation that wouldn’t show off how dry my skin is. That’s a story for another post though. Of course there are plenty of new releases, and things I’ve fancied trying for a while and just never got around to. I thought I’d share those things with you. Let’s get into my Beauty Wishlist.

I try to update my wishlist page regularly, but sometimes I forget to keep adding things. In this post the links will be affiliate, but it isn’t sponsored in any way, and I’ll leave it up to you if you use them or not.

1. Too Faced | Festival Refresh Spray -£22

I am kind of over the whole Unicorn and Mermaid trend, but I love the idea of the opalescent pearls for added illumination. I have been loving dewy skin lately, so I had to add this.

2. Ofra | Rodeo Drive Highlight – £25

This has been on my wishlist for ages! I’ve not tried Ofra before, but from what I’ve seen the highlight is ultra pigmented. Rodeo Drive is described as a ‘versatile, super-soft, golden highlighter’.

3. Too Faced | Born This Way Foundation – £29

I feel like I bang on about having dry skin every ten minutes, but here we are again. This foundation contains hydrating coconut water, so I should love it. It’s also medium to full coverage which is another thing that I’ll love. It is pricey at £29, and I’m pretty sure that’s the reason I haven’t tried it yet.

4. Too Faced | Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer – £25

I’ve heard so many good things about the Too Faced Soleil bronzers, but I’ve not tried them before. This one looks pale enough for me, and it’s supposed to smell like chocolate, so I’m pretty much sold. It’s also completely matte, which is also a huge plus.

5. Huda | Blushed Nudes – £33

I love Huda liquid lipsticks, the formula is one of my favourites. If not my favourite. Blushed Nudes are my favourite shades to wear, so of course I like the look of this set.

6. Huda | Warm Brown Obsessions Palette – £25

I haven’t tried a Huda palette before, but I’ve heard good things. All of the mini palettes look stunning, but I love a warm brown shade.

7. Mario Badescu | Facial Spray With Aloe, Chamomile And Lavender – £11

I currently have the green one of these, which is Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea, but I love the sound of this one. At the moment, I’m using the one I have all the time, as it’s quick and easy to use. When it runs out, I’ll be giving this one a try next.

8. Charlotte Tilbury | Hollywood Flawless Filter – £30

When I first saw this knocking about, I thought it was a foundation. The shame, I know. From what I can gather it’s actually a highlighting primer. Which means it will be perfect for achieving a dewy base.

9. Iconic London | Prep Set Glow – £18.50

I saw Kasie talk about these, on her blog and on her Instagram stories, and I knew I had to give it a go. This is a multitasking mist that sets makeup, refreshes skin and moisturisers. It also contains  light-reflecting particles that leave you glowing.

10. Artdeco | Bronzing Powder – £27.50

I’ve never tried this brand before, and I don’t think I’ve heard people mention it before. This bronzer caught my eye on Beauty Bay straight away, and I knew I wanted to give it a go. It also contains SPF 10, which is a little strange, but hey, it’s important.

11. Anastasia Beverly Hills | Matte Lipstick Nude Set – £22

Would it really be a wishlist without some sort of nude lipstick? In this set you get four minis, and all of the colours look super pretty and wearable. I know these are minis, but it seems like great value when one full size lipstick is £18.

12. Jeffree Star | Lip Scrub Chocolate Covered Strawberry – £12

Chocolate covered strawberries are my weakness. I love them, so of course I love the sound of this. I’ve been loving my Lush lip scrub, but I just cannot pass up a Chocolate covered strawberry one.

13. Pixi | Glow Mist & Makeup Fixing Mist Duo – £28

If you can’t already tell, I love a facial mist. This set is a makeup setting spray and a mist designed to illuminate skin. The glow mist is also supposed to relieve redness, which is something I struggle with.

14. Becca | Champagne Pop Highlighter – £32

I very nearly got this when I was in Florida in January, but decided against it, as I could quite easily get it here. Champagne Pop is a shade that I’ve heard a lot about, and is a stunning golden champagne.

15. OPV Beauty | Oshun Palette – £29

I’ve not seen anyone talk about this, but I love the look of the colours. It’s a little pricey, hence why it’s on here and not in my basket.

16. Charlotte Tilbury | The Duchess Lipstick – £24

This has been on my list for a while, as I love the look of the colour. It seems like it will be perfect for everyday and it is describes as a ‘Charming Tea-Rose Pink’.

17. L’Oréal | Smooth Sugar Nourish Cocoa Face And Lip Scrub – £9.99

I love a good scrub, and as soon as my current one runs out, I’ll be giving this one a go. This one is for dry skin, and is supposed to soothe and soften.

18. Benefit | Mascara- Rama Mini Mascara Trio Set – £17.50

I really want to try Bad Gal Bang, but when I discovered this set, it seemed like the safe option. Getting to try a mini of the three seems like a much better way to see which one works for me.

19. BOD | Body Prep Scrub Pink Salt and Coconut – £11.95

This is another thing I’ve not heard anyone talk about, but I love a scrub and this one sounds good. It’s apparently glittering too, which I’m not too sure about, but I think it’ll look great in the Summer.

20. Maybelline | Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick – £9.99

I’m not too sure what colour to try, but on the picture I’ve used Driver. I’ve heard a number of good things about these liquid lipstick, so I want to give them a try for myself.

21. Nars | All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation – £35

I love Sheer Glow, so I’d like to try more from Nars, and this foundation sounds great. It’s supposed to feel light on the skin, but be highly pigmented too, so it’d be interesting to see how well it works.

22. NYX | Mega Shine Gloss Beige – £4.50

The main reason for wanting is this is because I used to adore this gloss. I thought NYX had discontinued it, but to know they’re still selling it is great. Even though it’s called Beige, it’s a brightish pink. I’ve been loving gloss lately too, so I need to get my hands on this.

23. NYX | Soft Matte Lip Cream Cyprus – £6

This is one of the new shades, and it’s currently out of stock. It looks like quite a light nude, but I can’t find anywhere that perfectly describes the colour.

24. Coloured Raine | Queen of Hearts Palette – £45

As much as I like the look of this palette, £45 kills me. It has so many pretty colours, but I doubt this will make it from the list to the basket, as I just can’t spend that much on a palette when I already have so many.

Well this list got out of hand very quickly. If you read all of that then you deserve some sort of medal.

So that was my Beauty Wishlist.

Fabulous wishlist! I’ve really wanted the Colored raine palette ever since I saw NikkieTutorials play with it – so pigmented and the reddish/pinkish tones are right up my street and remind me a lot of the MR palette by ABH, which I love. Side note, that Mario Badescu spray has been playing on my mind for a long ass time – it looks so refreshing and hydrating! x

The Huda warm brown palette looks a dream, i’ve never tried Huda before! My wishlist at the moment is essentially the whole Glossier site, but i am also eyeing up the Too Faced Unicorn palette. As a little side note, i’d love to hear if you’ve found any good foundations for dry skin (ugh-such a problem) xx

    • luxuryblush says:

It’s so dreamy isn’t it?! I’ve only tried a liquid lipstick, and it’s so good! Everything from Glossier looks so good! The Unicorn palette looks super pretty too. It’s such a struggle isn’t it? I’m currently using the Tarte hydrating one, but I’m not sold on it xx

    Hi Hannah!
The products I was most drawn to in this post were probably the Huda Warm Brown Obsessions palette, The Body prep scrub and Charlotte Tilbury Duchess lipstick! They stood out to me the most at what looked gorgeous and intriguing.
I always find it interesting to see other peoples’ wishlists haha!!

All very lovely products! I love Champagne Pop, with a little bit of tan it is such a stunning highlighter. If you have dry skin (like moi) I think you might enjoy NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation. Little goes a long way and with all the necessary skin prep, it does look quite natural on the skin (I use one pump for my entire face) xx

  8. Candice says:

    These are all amazing products!
