In true me style this blog post is very late. I started blogging on the sixth of January 2015, so this post should have been out a while ago, but as time goes on I’m struggling to know what to do for these posts. It’s nice to mark the occasion, but knowing exactly how to do it is the problem.
Let’s get into Four Years of Blogging!
For my first year I shared what I learnt, and also gave myself a few resolutions to aim towards. I can’t bring myself to fully read the post, but it’s there and 100% cringe.
For Year Two I did pretty much the same, but with some different points. Pat on the back for the creativity. I also gave a little update on how I had gotten on with my goals. This one is another that’s mainly cringe, which I also can’t bring myself to read.
Year Three is where things got a little different. I went back to my first ever post and shared a few of my thoughts on it now and reflected over the past years.
Now onto Year Four, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but at the same time I can’t remember life before my blog. Blogging has given me a hobby that seems to be never ending. There is always something to do, so there is never a dull moment, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I love having a space where I can write whatever I want and someone somewhere will read it. I don’t look at my stats a lot, but when I do it blows my mind. When I see the visitors that my little site has from around the world its insane. It truly floors me every time I see it. I know it’s not all about stats, but it blows my mind to see people in other countries reading my blog.
This whole thing is mad, but I love it. I already love looking back over my posts (not the really early ones though, as you’ve probably been able to tell) and seeing what I was doing. One of the reasons why I love favourites posts so much is because I love looking back over them and seeing what I was loving at the time.
Anyway, it’s been a journey, but I can’t wait to see what happens next with my blog. Let’s also pretend that we aren’t closing into five years, as this post goes live. Also look at me doing another ramble post, I hope you like it!
That was Four Years of Blogging!
How long have you been blogging for?
Thank you for reading!
