It’s been a long time since I’ve tried new skincare products, as I never really know what to go for. Then I was very kindly given the chance to try an award winning moisturiser from Herbalife, which seemed like a good one to try. When the parcel arrived the cleanser was a nice surprise too. Before we get into the review I would just like to say thank you to the team for sending these out to me.
To be 100% clear the items were very kindly gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.
In this post I’m going to be going over the Soothing Aloe Cleanser and the Daily Glow Moisturiser.
Let’s get into my Herbalife Skincare Review!
Soothing Aloe Cleanser
This cleanser is gentle enough to be used in mornings and at night, and it is infused with Aloe Vera with no added parabens and it is sulphate free. I love that it is Aloe Vera based as I knew my dry skin would love it. The cleanser is also targeted to those with normal to dry skin which I totally agree with. I don’t think it’s hydrating enough for when my skin is really dry, but if you’re normal to dry then it will be perfect!
Texture wise; it’s a clear gel, and it’s a little hard to describe. It’s not thick, but it’s not thin either. It lathers up a little bit, but not too much. I didn’t really notice a smell with it, it’s just very clean and refreshing; which is perfect for skincare.
I have really been enjoying using this cleanser, my skin has felt moisturised, refreshed and clean. There’s not a lot else to say really, it’s a lovely cleanser that is gentle enough to not irritate the skin. My skin can be a little sensitive, so I always have that slight concern with skincare, but this has been fine.
This cleanser costs £20.57 (weird price, I know), and that is for 150ml worth of product.
You can buy it from the Herbalife website.
Daily Glow Moisturiser
The Daily Glow Moisturiser is the star of the show. It has won the Top Santé skincare award for the best day time moisturiser.
This moisturiser is designed to target fine lines, hydrate and give a healthy glow.
It is formulated with vitamins B3, C and E, plus aloe vera, sunflower seed, macadamia, olive and sesame seed oils. As soon as I saw Vitamin E I knew I would love it, as I’m forever raving about anything that contains it. I’ve also really wanted to include Vitamin C in my routine too, as I’ve heard a lot of people rave about it. It’s also got illuminating properties which create a healthy glow. I didn’t think I’d be very keen on the illuminating aspect, but it isn’t extreme; it really does leave a subtle healthy glow.
I like to use this after serum, but it’s also nice to apply before makeup as it makes a great base. Texture wise it’s similar to the cleanser where it isn’t thin, but it isn’t thick either. I use two pumps of this and it’s just the right amount, as a little goes a long way.
This costs £40.08 (again, a weird amount) Which I do think is too expensive for what it is.
You can get this moisturiser from the Herbalife website.
There we have it; that was my take on the Herbalife cleanser and moisturiser. Overall I have really been enjoying using both products, and I must admit that I’ll be a little sad when I run out of the moisturiser. It’s just a shame about the price, as much as I’ve been enjoying using them, I think they’re a little pricey for what they are.
That was my Herbalife Skincare Review!
Have you tried Herbalife before?
Thank you for reading!
The Aloe cleanser sounds seriously intriguing but I have so many drugstore cleansers that I really enjoy at the moment. Thank you for sharing your review, Hannah, great post xx

These both sound like great products! The moisturizer sounds lovely, it is a bit pricey but I tend to spend that amount on skin care products, but they have to be really worth it. Thank you for sharing these and being honest! xx

Since you said that the moisturizer is too expensive for the price, I assume you wouldn’t repurchase, but would you repurchase the cleanser? I really liked this review. One of my friends is a representative for herbalife and I always wondered if their skincare products are any good. Great post Hannah xx

I like using aloe in my skincare. I have an aloe vera toner that I love. This sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing. <3

These sound like great products! They’re definitely more than what I would spend on a cleanser and moisturizer, but I’m glad they’re good quality! Thanks for sharing your review! 🙂

These sound like lovely products, I love the sound of them being gentle and leave you with a healthy glow, just what I look for in skincare products as so many I tried have made my skin tight and dry and irritated it 😀 such a pretty review and photos! xx
