Can you believe that it’s time for this post already? The end of this year is flying! Or it may have something to do with me not posting until late in the month anyway, and as you can see; my timing is not getting any better. I thought after posting my to-do list I would update you on how I got on with it.
This is my October To-Do List Update!
This one I managed to do. I don’t like pumpkin spice or anything like that, so I played it safe and made triple chocolate cookies. In the end I decided not to share the outcome on my blog, as I used the recipe from my 2017 blog post. I really can’t believe that it took me so long to make them again. I’m happy that this was a success, and now I need to move on to my next bake…
Wardrobe Clear Out
In true ‘me’ style I did this on the 31st, so still keeping things last minute. In my last post I mentioned a new wardrobe, but I’m holding out on that for now. The declutter went really well and I managed to part with things that I haven’t worn in years; which is harder than it sounds for a hoarder. I now know what pieces I’d like to pick up to style with what I already have, as I’m a little bit desperate for more Autumn/ Winter pieces.
Buy All of the Seasonal Candles
This one I haven’t gotten around to.I was sent some candles, but I don’t think it counts. I’m currently going through a phase of using everything I have instead of buying new all of the time, and apparently this includes candles. I have got some festive candles from last year that I haven’t even burnt yet, so I’ll be using those ones instead. How adult of me.
Get Back into my Exercise Routine
Now this has been a success. I got into the routine of using the treadmill everyday and walking Ralph too. This was all well and good until I got shin splints, so I’ve had a little break and now I am ready to get back into it. I now need to invest in some good trainers, as I think I’ve worn mine out.
There we have it! That was my My October To-Do List Update. It was a successful month in a way, apart from getting ill towards the end, but we can’t have everything.
Did you have a good October?
Thank you for reading!
