The Longevity Test: A Decade in My Routine
I originally wrote this review all the way back in 2015 when I was desperately searching for a solution to my dry skin. Eleven years later, despite the brand’s recent high-street restructuring, this exact bottle remains a cult-classic staple in the beauty world.
After struggling with frustratingly dry skin for a while, I found myself browsing the Body Shop website with almost the entire Vitamin E range sitting in my shopping basket.
In the end, I managed to exercise some restraint and narrowed it down to just three core staples: the cleanser, the toner, and the moisturiser. Let’s just say, all these years later, I haven’t looked back.
If you are hunting for an affordable, comforting wash that won’t leave your face feeling stripped, here is my honest review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser.
What Is It & Who Is It For?
This creamy formula is designed to act as the very first step in your skincare routine. It is formulated to gently melt away daily impurities, pollution, and light makeup to leave your skin feeling completely clean, soft, and refreshed.
-
The Texture: It has a gorgeous, rich, lotion-like texture that feels incredibly cushioning on the skin.
-
Sensitivity Check: My skin is quite sensitive, so I always worry that introducing a new skincare product will cause a flare-up or irritation. Thankfully, this formula is incredibly gentle and has never caused my skin any issues whatsoever.
How to Use It for Best Results
I personally love to use this exclusively in the evenings as a comforting first wash, though it is easily gentle enough to use twice a day (both morning and night) if your skin barrier is feeling particularly compromised.

I'd love to try this, Vitamin E is so good for your skin, I have the oil from the Body Shop and it was a bit too rich I think!
