Back in November, I wrote a post titled: Six Things I No Longer Buy, and I thought it would be fun to flip that and list six things that I’m still buying. As I’ve been on a low buy for so long this post was actually a lot harder to put together than that one was. It’s great to look back at things I was buying a few years ago and seeing if I’m still buying them now.
This is Six Things I’m Still Buying.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks
I love Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and I still have so many shades that I want to try. Even though I am on a low buy, and I’m not going to let myself until I finish up some of the ones I have. Which is going to take forever. Charlotte Tilbury has an amazing formula and I always find myself reaching for them instead of other brands I have in my collection.
The Body Shop Skincare
I’ll always repurchase something from the Vitamin E range, as it’s my all time favourite. Whether it’s the moisturiser, cleanser or toner. I always have something from them in my stash at any given time. It works really with my skin and it doesn’t break the bank either, so it’s win, win.
Practically Anything From ColourPop
I used to find it impossible to pick a favourite makeup brand, but it’s definitely ColourPop. I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve tried from them, but I hate how quickly they discontinue things. Their lip balms were my all time favourite, but I’m pretty sure they’ve been discontinued now. I’m hoping it’s just a rebrand, but with ColourPop it’s probably the first one. I’ll still buy their eyeshadow, and I’m very surprised that, That’s Taupe hasn’t made it to the collection yet.
Garnier Micellar Water
I have been buying this constantly for as long as I can remember. It’s gentle and removes makeup really well, as well as cleansing the skin. One of my favourite things about this is how quickly is works as you don’t need to rinse it off and as someone as lazy as I am, it’s great.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
A classic, and my all time favourite mascara. Nothing compares to this, it’s the best mascara I’ve tried. It adds so much length and volume to my lashes with just one coat. It also doesn’t clump them together, and I never have a problem with spidery lashes. If you’re on the hunt for a good mascara then I would recommend this one.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I remember putting trying this foundation off for so long, and boy do I regret it. It has been my go to ever since, as the formula works perfectly with my skin. Even though I don’t find myself drawn to the newer Too Faced releases, I’ll always come back for this foundation. It is has a medium coverage that can be built up without looking cakey. The main thing I love about it is that it contains coconut water and hyaluronic acid, so it’s great for dry skin.
There we have it that is Six Things I’m Still Buying
