Well, I didn’t realise it had been quite so long since my last round of reviews! It has taken me a hot minute to get through a decent selection of products, but I’m so excited to finally be sitting down for my eighth round of product empties.
With a house move officially on the horizon, I desperately wanted to get these product empties posted so I didn’t have to pack up and cart literal rubbish to a brand-new house. Clearing out the clutter feels so satisfying, especially when you are trying to keep your makeup collection streamlined and intentional.
From holy-grail brow gels to a bittersweet perfume finish, here is everything I’ve completely used up recently—and whether they are worth repurchasing.
Clinique | Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 Foundation
I absolutely loved using this foundation. I’ve rarely spoken about it on my blog because, due to the shade matching, I could only wear it when I was freshly fake tanned. Because of that, this single bottle lasted me a very long time!
I have the shade Alabaster, which is the second lightest in the range, but I do find that it can oxidise slightly throughout the day. If I buy it again, I definitely need to drop down to the lightest shade. Formula-wise, this gives flawless full coverage without making the skin look heavy. It’s wonderfully luminous and never leaves my dry skin looking parched. Instead of a pump, it features a giant doe-foot applicator which makes dotting it onto the skin super easy.
Repurchase? Yes, but definitely in a lighter shade next time!
Soap and Glory | Supercat Eyeliner
(Before the formula change in 2021/22)
I have no idea how I haven’t featured this eyeliner in a previous roundup before. This has been my absolute go-to liquid liner for years and I’ve been through countless tubes.
It lasts an incredibly long time. This particular tube had been fading for a while, but I was so determined to finish it that I was actually going over the line with black eyeshadow to stretch it out! It is so easy to apply and locks down all day. Soap & Glory did a bit of a line revamp on this classic recently, and I’m not happy about it. I’ve heard a lot of negative reviews, but I still want to try it for myself.
Repurchase? Yes! I’m ready to grab their updated version to see how it compares.
Bali Body | Self Tanning Mousse
This product was originally gifted, but all opinions are my own.
I love this fake tan, and it is by far one of my favourite beauty discoveries. I’ve already repurchased a fresh bottle, and I’m seriously thinking about trying their Ultra Dark version next time for a deeper glow.
The color is the most beautiful, natural olive shade and it is incredibly easy to apply. Because it has a strong guide color, it’s foolproof to see exactly where you’ve applied it, meaning I’ve never once had a problem with it going streaky.

Glow Recipe | Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream
(Discontinued)
I flew through this moisturizer so quickly, and I absolutely loved it. Every single time I did my makeup, I reached for this as my priming base. It did a spectacular job of keeping my foundation locked into place while keeping my skin deeply hydrated underneath.
I also utterly adored the sweet banana scent, even if it was very strong and a little on the artificial side. Sadly, Glow Recipe has discontinued this specific soufflé cream, which is a massive heartbreak for dry skin lovers!
Repurchase? I would have in a heartbeat, but it’s officially gone.
Anastasia Beverly Hills | Dipbrow Gel
(Discontinued)
I originally picked this up completely on a whim. I noticed that when I dyed my hair brown, it washed my natural brows out a bit, so I needed something to add depth.
Let’s just say I haven’t looked back since and I used it every single time I did my makeup. I used this to lightly brush through my brow hairs to set them firmly into place, add a little texture, and deposit just the right amount of colour. Sadly, Anastasia Beverly Hills has officially discontinued this brow gel.
Repurchase?: I did repurchase this, but I have since moved onto the 17. brow gel. However, that’s had a formula change too! I’ll be sure to report back after I’ve tried the newer version.
Viktor & Rolf | Flowerbomb
We have a momentous occasion, everyone: I’ve finally used up an entire bottle of perfume! What an absolute achievement. I’ve been trying to finish a fragrance for ages now and it has finally happened.
This full bottle took me around two years to finish, and that’s with a lot of consistent use. Flowerbomb is beautifully floral and distinctly sweet, but it never crosses the line into being overpowering.
Repurchase? As much as I love it and will miss it terribly during the springtime, I want to force myself to try some new scents before running back to it.

Overall, this was a very successful batch of product empties, apart from a few product discontinuations and updates giving me a bit of heartbreak! It feels incredible to head into my house move with a lighter makeup drawer.

Oh I haven’t tried the Soap and Glory eyeliner so I’ll have to try it as I’ve been looking for a new eye liner to try for a while now. I don’t have that many empties but my most recent one was my bare minerals moisturiser.
Sadly it’s been discontinued. Oooh I really want to try Bare Minerals xx
