Everything in this post has been kindly gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.
I will admit that before this tan I was a complete newbie to the whole fake tanning scene. In the past I enjoyed products that were quick to apply and didn’t last that long which was mainly down to me being lazy. That was until I tried this tan. I will admit that when I first used it I didn’t leave it to develop for long enough which lead to me to pushing it to the side. When I decided to try it again, I fell in love. So it is definitely time for a Bali Body review.
I just want to say a huge thank you for the team over at Bali Body for sending this parcel to me.
Bali Body is an Australian based vegan company. Selling everything from: Self Tan, Sun Care and Cosmetics. In this post I will be going over the Self Tan Heroes Set and the BB Cream. All of the products are available on the Bali Body Website and Beauty Bay.
This is my Bali Body Review.
Dark Self Tanning Mousse
My favourite thing about this tan is the guide colour. Which is something I obviously didn’t understand when I first tried it. This means that when you apply it, it should be easy to catch any places that you’ve missed. Which makes it very easy to apply. I apply this with the Bali Body mitt which always leaves me with a streak free application that is never patchy.
This tan contains:
Coffee Seed Extract a powerful antioxidant to keep the skin looking youthful.
Coconut to prime the skin for rejuvenation.
Pomegranate Extract rich in vitamin C and full of antioxidants to fight the signs of ageing and give a youthful glow.
This tan is 100% natural DHA and Paraben free; due to this the tan doesn’t have that biscuit scent that a lot of tans do. Which is a very welcomed addition. Once applied I find that it dries quickly, but I do find that it stays a little tacky for a while. Which isn’t a problem, as it doesn’t stop me from getting changed. It does tend to mark my clothes, but it’s always come out in the wash.
I always leave my tan to develop overnight now, and the colour is a perfect cool toned bronze. Which doesn’t lean orange at all. I can honestly say that I’ve never tried a tan that has made me want to repurchase quite like this one.

Face Tan Water
This face tan water is a great addition to my skincare routine, as it is packed full of benefits. It contains:
Sodium Hyaluronate which is derived from hyaluronic acid, to plump the skin.
Jojoba Oil to provide moisture and fight facial lines and scaring. It is also beneficial for acne, eczema and psoriasis.
Rose Water tightens pores and tones the skin, whilst giving the water it’s scent. It also calms redness and helps with acne, dermatitis and eczema.
I apply this with a cotton pad and use it in place of a toner. As I find it better than applying with my hands, as it is a lot quicker and applies easier. It’s also best to make sure that you have applied this everywhere, as I must admit that I have ended up with white patches here and there from places that I missed.
My favourite thing about this is that it evens out my skin tone. A little redness is visible, but I have very red cheeks which are hard to cover at the best of times. I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do, but it’s up there.
This product costs £25.95.
Luxe Moisturising Lotion
This is probably the only product that I don’t like, and that is only because I hate the scent. It’s Grapefruit scented which is my least favourite, and as it lingers it puts me off from using it, as I just don’t enjoy it. Don’t get me wrong, it does a fantastic job of moisturising, but I can’t get past the scent.
Shea Butter to nourish and hydrate.
Aloe Vera to treat skin conditions such as eczema and severe sun burn. It also provides deep hydration.
Camellia Tea to protect the skin from radicals and reduce the appearance of ageing. Whilst reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scarring.
I can say that this is very lightweight and dries quickly. If it was available in other scents then it would be a favourite.
This moisturiser costs £16.95.
This BB cream is available in four different shades, and I have the shade Natural which is the second lightest. It applies smoothly over the skin to leave a healthy dewy glow which I love. I can imagine that this will be perfect in the Summer and I was looking forward to taking this abroad with me. As I like to have a fuller coverage whilst at home, but on holiday I tend to want lighter coverage which is what this is.
Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate the skin.
Green Tea Extract a rich source of antioxidants to fight against skin damage.
Marine Collagen extracted from the natural seaweed variety and firms, plumps and renews the skin.
Overall I really like this BB cream, but I can see myself reaching for it more in summer.
This costs £25.95
There we have it, those are my thoughts on a mixture of Bali Body products. Overall I have really liked everything that I’ve tried. The tanning mousse is definitely the star of the show.
