Whenever I have a blogging break I have to come back with a favourites post, it’s just how it always seems to happen. Part of me can’t believe that I’ve been blogging for so long and these are still my all time favourite posts to put together. This post is quite varied and I include something I’ve never spoken on my blog before, which has made me feel incredibly old; so please enjoy whilst I have a quarter life crisis…
These are my June Favourites 2021.
Charlotte Tilbury | Look of Love Pretty Blushed Beauty
I will admit that I was on the fence about buying this because I know how much I dislike buying face palettes because there’s always something that I end up not using. Then this palette came along and changed the game. Not only is every shade beautiful, but the formula backs it up. The blush is the standout for me, it’s a peachy pink that leaves a natural sheen. I don’t want to ramble on too much, but this is easily my favourite makeup purchase of the year so far.
ColourPop | Koosh Super Shock Shadow
This is something that I didn’t expect to love so much. I got this in a set with the shade Ritz and I was fully expecting that one to be my favourite, but I much prefer this one. Koosh has a metallic finish and is a light gold with an icy silver shimmer running through it. It’s simply beautiful and really finishes a look.
ColourPop | Snake Eyes Eyeshadow
I won’t bore you too much with this one, as I am fully aware that it’s all I seem to talk about over on my Instagram. Saying that, you know it’s a good one when it inspires a whole collection; I’m looking at you: ‘That’s Taupe‘. Snake Eyes is a metallic taupe that I love using as an all over lid shade. I do experience a small amount of fallout, but nothing too drastic.
Bali Body | Self Tanning Mousse
Previously gifted, but I have gone on to repurchase.
With things opening back up I have been reaching for the fake tan, and I always end up coming back to this one. The colour is beautiful, as it doesn’t look orange at all. Another huge benefit is that it doesn’t really transfer. I’ll always end up with some on my clothes whilst it’s developing, but it never marks my bedding. Which I am very grateful for as a white bedding owner. The guide colour is also great as it means I never have a patchy tan. I have a full review, if you’d like more details.
Comfort | Perfume Deluxe Coco Fantasy
I never thought I would be talking about fabric conditioner on my blog, but here we are. Since moving out I’ve always used some variation of Comfort, but now I think I’ve found my favourite scent. It has such a strong coconut scent, which I can still smell in the garden whilst the washing is drying. I picked this up in Home Bargains, but I’ve seen online that it’s available in most Supermarkets.
Ikea
I’m aware putting going to Ikea in here makes it seem like a slow month, but hear me out. This was the first trip to Ikea since owning a house, so where as all of my other trips were to look at the bedroom stuff and dream about my future home. This trip was different, as we needed furniture for the living room and more glasses. Oh and let’s not forget the meatballs… It just seemed like a significant change that I wanted to note down.
I think I’ll leave it there before this post becomes too long.

Great post! I think self-tanning creams and mousses are so good for this time of year- especially here in the UK where we rarely get enough sun to tan!

I love makeup palettes but I feel the same, there’s always something on there that won’t get used. And a trip to IKEA as a homeowner is always fun 😂

I love a favourites post and I’ve been blogging for 7 years next month! I’ve only this year committed to doing my monthly favourites every month though; madness I know! Looking forward to returning with a favourites post too (had a bit of a life event ya know :’( ). Talking of face palettes you’ve literally just reminded my to dig into that gorgeous blush in my Naked on the Run palette more!

Wow! You’ve got some great products here. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried any of these. The Charlotte Tilbury | Look of Love Pretty Blushed Beauty looks so good. I would love to have that. The Bali Body | Self Tanning Mousse and the ColourPop | Koosh Super Shock Shadow caught my attention as well.
