I feel like favourites posts have become a reoccurring theme on my blog, as let’s be honest; it’s pretty much all I’ve posted this year. In this post I thought I would talk about the products I use the most. I’ve picked these highlighters out by how much I’ve used them, instead of what I’m using at the moment. These are the ones I always come back too, and stand out in my collection.
These are my most loved highlighters.
MAC | Beaming Blush
When I get tired of constantly using the new highlighter in my collection. This is the one, I always end up coming back too. Beaming Blush is described as a pink that breaks gold, but it isn’t in your face pink. In fact, it’s rather subtle and leaves more of a light rose gold finish. Which means if you’re after something pink, this might not be the best option for you. It’s shimmery without having the larger chunkier glitter. It’s also not extremely pigmented, but it builds nicely, so it’s hard to go overboard.
Anastasia Beverly Hills | Amrezy
Unfortunately this highlighter was limited edition, and is no longer available. It has been brought back before, so hopefully it will again, as I think it is very much worth the hype. The Amrezy highlighter is a champagne gold with a metallic finish. It’s highly pigmented, so you really don’t need to use that much product, and it lasts all day. I love it, and find myself reaching for it a lot.
Wet n Wild | Blossom Glow
This is the highlighter I used 90% of the time in 2019. For some daft reason, I thought once I hit pan, I’d fly through the rest of it. As you can see, I still have a loooong way to go. Blossom Glow is described as an iridescent silver shimmer, but from swatching it on my hand; it looks very pink. Which is weird because if I had seen the swatch I probably wouldn’t have bought it, but it’s one of my favourites. It doesn’t turn out pink once applied. I never have an issue with blending this out, and I always apply two layers to get an opaque finish.
ColourPop | Stole the Show
This is one of the more glittery highlighters to make the list, as it’s very pigmented. That also means you don’t need to apply too much, and the smallest amount gives you a blinding finish. Stole the Show is described as a light warm silver with flashes of pink, silver and gold. It’s mainly white, with pink and gold sparkles. If I want something blinding, I know this won’t let me down.
ColourPop | Spoon
Sadly this highlighter has been discontinued, but it’s still one of my favourites. Spoon is described as a light silver champagne with multi dimensional silver flecks. I never wear this shade on it’s own, but instead I use it as a topper. The flecks of glitter in this can transform any highlighter and add that blinding finish.

Love the shades of these! I am still trying to wade my way through makeup, but totally fell in love with the Colour pop stole the show and wet n wild blossom glow! Really need to check them out x

So handy this! I live highlighters but I don’t have any atm because my last few were out of date sadly, so annoyed because the “panorama” haunted my make-uo wearing. I love the sound of Stole the snow and blossom glow!

I really liked the Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy one too but I wasn’t wearing it a lot so I gave it to my cousin. It’s very nice though! x

I’ve tried all of these highlighter formulas except the Mac one! I love the amreezy one in the winter, because I feel like in the summer, the shade is a little too light on me! I’ve been using my colourpop highlighter the most throughout 2020-2021! Great post Han xx

I used to love my Mac highlighter and definitely need to get a new one along with my colourpop supershock ones are a little old and dried out! I’ve been obsessed with an Ofra highlighting palette at the moment, all here for the glow! xx
MAC have some really lovely shades. I hate that ColourPop super shocks dry out after a while. I’ve never tried Ofra, but I’ve heard lots of good things xx
