Can you believe that this is my third empties post of the year, and that it’s already Empties #7? Because I certainly can’t.
I only ever used to do roundups once a year because it took me ages to finish anything. Now that I’m on a strict low-buy, I’m not bringing new makeup into my collection as often, which gives me a fantastic chance to finally use stuff up!
So strap in, it’s time for another round of beauty empties.
Maybelline | Dream Urban Cover Foundation (Discontinued)

I loved using this foundation. It comes in a sleek tube that allows you to squeeze every last drop of product out, so you don’t end up wasting anything. Plus, the application is much cleaner since you can dot it straight onto your face. (Just don’t let the end touch your face.)
The formula is very thin and feels incredibly lightweight, meaning it never looks cakey. It lasts all day and suits my dry skin perfectly. Overall, I really loved this foundation, but sadly it has been completely discontinued.
Repurchase? I would have, but it’s no longer available! If you have dry skin too, I’ve been loving the Revlon Colourstay.
ColourPop | BFF Mascara (Discontinued)

Does anyone else absolutely hate makeup with packaging that rubs off?
When I first used this mascara I really liked it, but as it started to dry up over the weeks, it just wasn’t as good. Now that I’ve finally finished it, I’m honestly not mad about it. It was a perfectly nice product, but I much prefer my trusty Maybelline Lash Sensational. Since ColourPop has axed this line anyway, it makes my decision not to look for it again very easy! On the plus side, the wand features fluffy bristles and a nice hourglass shape that is very similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
Repurchase? No, I prefer others.
Essie | Fifth Avenue

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this specific polish on my blog before, which is so strange because I utterly adore this colour! There is rarely a time when this isn’t painted on my toes, and I’m a bit gutted that I can’t scrape any more out of this bottle.
Fifth Avenue is a stunning, vibrant orange-red with a gorgeous creamy formula. The absolute main thing I love about it is the coverage, I can easily get away with doing just a single coat and it’s completely opaque with incredible colour payoff.
Repurchase? 100% yes!
The Body Shop | Hand Cream (Scents Discontinued)

These two are from a previous Christmas release, and I loved both of them. The festive scents are always so good, aren’t they?
These hand creams aren’t greasy at all and dry down incredibly quickly, which makes them the ultimate product to take out out with you. I love having these to pop in my bag and apply on the go. While these specific festive scents are no longer on the shelves, the formula itself is brilliant.
Repurchase? Yes! The permanent range has some stunning scents with Coconut being one of my faves.
The Body Shop | Cactus Blossom Body Yogurt (Scent Discontinued)

I wasn’t entirely sure whether or not to include this one, as it was a limited-edition Mother’s Day release and doesn’t seem like it’s going to be brought back anytime soon.
The Body Yogurts are by far my absolute favourite body moisturisers, and this one was no exception. It sinks in quickly, feels incredibly lightweight, and best of all, it isn’t sticky at all. While I wouldn’t repurchase this specific cactus scent if it ever came back, the actual formula is a holy grail.
Repurchase? Not this exact scent, but I love the formula. I’m moving onto their gorgeous, permanent Almond Milk version next!
Lush | Cookie Dough Body Scrub (Scent Discontinued)

This is easily one of the weirdest body scrubs I have ever tried. The texture is very thick in the tub, but it thins out beautifully the more you work it into the skin, just be sure your skin is fully wet when you apply it, not dry!
I do love that the texture isn’t too scratchy or harsh; it’s actually quite mild, which makes a nice middle ground for regular exfoliation. It also doesn’t leave my skin looking red, dry, or irritated, which is another huge bonus. The only thing I dislike about it is the scent. It’s incredibly strong, and it’s pretty much all you can smell in the shower, which became a bit overpowering and unpleasant for me. It doesn’t smell quite sweet enough to be true cookie dough, as the almond note is just a little too heavy-handed.
Repurchase? Probably not this specific scent, but I’d happily try other Lush scrub formulas.
That’s a Wrap on My Latest Beauty Empties
There we have it! That was Empties #7 officially done and dusted. It feels so satisfying to clear out the packaging clutter and see what is actually worth the money.
Have you used anything up lately?
Are there any holy grail products you’ve finished, or have you been hit by a sad product discontinuation lately too? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you for reading!

I love The Body Shop warm vanilla scent. I had the shower gel and body butter in that scent and loved them. I have that Essie nail polish and it’s a beautiful shade, especially for summer.

I love Lush but I do too find some of their products so overpowering when it comes to the scents. One of the scrubs I find amazing is the Buffy Bar, it’s not heavily scented but it does WONDERS to my skin, so highly recommend! xx
