Well this is a bit late isn’t it? I know I’ll be kicking myself when I’m uploading my August Favourites in a few weeks, as I like to spread these posts out and have other things in-between. July was a good makeup month for me, as I ended up wearing it quite a lot, so unlike previous months, I have a good selection of products to go through.
Let’s get into my July Favourites 2020.
Too Faced | Sweet Peach Palette
What a throwback. Earlier this year I thought about decluttering this palette as I barely got any use out of it. Flash forward and I’ve been using it every time I do my makeup. The shades are pigmented and it still has that strong peach scent that I love. I’ve been using Georgia and Puree in the crease with luscious over the lid and it is my go to look for the day time.
Anastasia Beverly Hills | Sugar Glow Kit
Another ABH glow kit, I know! As I mention in pretty much every blog post I’m enjoying cycling through my collection and this palette has been a favourite. I have been mixing the shades Marshmallow, Butterscotch and Starburst. It may sound like a weird mix, but I think they balance each other out nicely. They’re all extremely pigmented, so if you like something a little more blinding then this is for you.
Benefit | Hoola Bronzer
I always pull this bronzer out in the Summer or when I’ve fake tanned as it is a little too dark for my usual pale self. This is one of my favourite bronzers and I use it to warm up my face. Hoola is a matte bronzer, that is a medium brown with warm undertones. As you can see I have finally hit pan too after what feels like forever.
Too Faced | Sweethearts Bronzer
I’ve had this bronzer in my collection for a long time now, as I only tend to gravitate towards it in the Summer. The reason for that is because it has a shimmer running through it which I think is a nice touch when it’s sunny outside. This has two tones to it and I like to mix them together. This bronzer also seems to last forever as no matter how I use it, it just doesn’t dent. It’s pigmented, so you don’t need to use a lot.
Fenty | Fu$$y Gloss Bomb
I have been using this gloss every time I put on makeup, and I love it. Fussy is described as a shimmering dusty pink, but applies as a sheer pinky shimmer. The scent is very sweet, which I love, but I know some may find it over powering. This gloss isn’t sticky, but it gives a perfect glossy finish.
ColourPop | Super Shock Shadow in Peekaboo
I pulled this out of my draw on a whim, and I am so glad that I re-discovered it. Peekaboo is described as a Metallic ivory with silver glitter, and it is a lovely eyeshadow topper. I have been using this over the top of Luscious from the Sweet Peach palette and it adds a subtle wash of glitter.
There we have it, those were my July Favourites 2020.
What were you loving throughout July?
