Can you tell I’m enjoying writing monthly to-do lists? Another month means another list, and this time it’s July. Can you believe that we’re halfway through the year? It feels mental that we’ve spent most of the year in a global pandemic, but fingers crossed the rest of the year is good to us.
This is my July To-Do List 2020.
Start a New Book
After reading: ‘One of Us is Lying’, it made me realise why I used to enjoy reading so much. It’s a brilliant escape and also gives my eyes a rest from screens which is one reason why I won’t buy a kindle. In my book haul, I mentioned two other books and I really want to start one of them.
Make More Pinterest Graphics
I had a phase on making Pinterest graphics a few months back, but I really want to get back into it. I’m still not really sure what I’m doing, but I know that I need to be posting more often. At the moment I make about four at a time, as it takes me too long to make any more. I’m hoping that it becomes easier with practice and I’ll be banging them out sooner rather than later.
Get Back into Fake Tanning
I never used to be into tanning, but I got into it right before lockdown. Which is bad timing because just as quickly as I got into a routine, I got thrown out of it. It seemed wasteful to apply it to sit at home, so I’ve been walking around like Casper the Ghost for the past few months. As things are slowly getting lifted I want to get into a good routine and have a little bit more practice.
Promote My Blog More Often
In June I started using Twitter regularly to promote my blog and it’s really helped. I never used to use Twitter that often, but I find myself on it everyday and I’m constantly discovering new bloggers, so I’m really enjoying it. I know views aren’t everything, but I want to at least put a little bit of effort into it.
Write Blog Posts Regularly
I kind of fell off the wagon at the end of June, so I’m hoping to get back on it July. Which means writing posts more often, so I don’t run out like I have done before. I know I’ll never be set for months in advance, but a few weeks is always a good feeling. It also helps that I have a lot of ideas at the moment, so I better get on with it.
There we have it! That was my July To-Do List 2020!
What’s on your July To-Do List?
Thank you for reading!
Trying to get into a better routine of writing up my blog posts too! Would love to be able to do Pinterest graphics too as I was really enjoying pinning before lockdown but it was all other people’s stuff haha xx
Danielle’s Beauty Blog
I hope you’re able to get back into a good routine! Same here, Pinterest graphics seem to be so helpful though. I hope you can get back into pinning xx
Wishing you the best to get through your July to do list and tick everything off of it!xx

I hope you’re able to get back into it! Thank you so much xx
I want to get back into fake tanning as well! I need to remind myself to do it. I hope you have a great month ahead of you xx
Lauren | itslaurenvictoria.co.uk
I hope you’re able to get back into it, it’s such a simple way to make you feel better isn’t it? Thank you, and the exact same to you xx
This is a great to do list! I really want to get into writing my blog posts in advance again because I have fell behind on that recently! But good luck with your list 😊 x
Thank you so much, I am glad you think so! It makes you feel so productive doesn’t it haha! Thank you xx
Oooh! Love all of the things on your to-do list for July! I love that you added getting back to tanning! This is self-love!
Nancy ✨ exquisitely.me
Thank you! That is so true xx
What a productive to do list! If you’re trying to get into creating Pinterest graphics quicker, I really recommend spending an hour to make some Canva templates you like so you can just drag and drop images into them 🙂 xx
mia /// https://beautiful-inspiring-creative-life.com
Thank you! That is a great idea, I must remember to save my templates, as I spend ages recreating them every time I start haha xx
On my July to do list is to take a break from blogging! I’ve been left with complications from Covid and I need to give my body a real chance to heal so I’ll take a few weeks off. I still tan weekly – even if I have to ask my husband to do it! I can’t do Pinterest graphics for the life of me! lol! Best of luck with your goals x
Beautylymin
You’ve been a trouper that’s for sure, you definitely deserve to take a break. I hope you’re back to 100% soon, sending all the love. Haha, that’s great! They’re difficult to wrap your head around aren’t they?! Thank you so much xx
Blogging is on my list too! Hope you have a lovely July
I hope you’re able to get it done! Thank you, and the same to you xx
Oh, I feel ya sister! End of July must have been some sort of retrograde period because I also couldn’t be bothered to put any effort towards my blog 😀 So glad to finally be back on it, and I have a whole new appreciation for writing again after some weeks. Although, perhaps it was just time for all of us to have a bit of a break 😉 And now we can return with a whole new gear.
Teresa Maria | Outlandish Blog
It must have been haha! Glad to see you back and enjoying it again. Yes, a break is always a good idea if you’re struggling xx
Sounds like you’re going to have a productive month! I’m planning to read 3/4 books and write at least 3 blog posts this month!
haha that’s the plan! These lists really help me to get stuff done. Good luck with it, I hope you’re able to get it done xx
The time is going by so fast! I was just saying to my sister that yesterday it was winter and now we’ve come out and it’s now summer and hot! I feel like we barely went through spring because of the pandemic! With my blog I also want to batch write blog posts and concentrate on Pinterest a lot more. Lol wish me luck! xxx
It really is! It’s so strange isn’t it?! I hope you’re able to get some more posts written and nail Pinterest. Good luck!!xx
I can’t believe it’s already July! One of my goals is definitely to regularly write blog posts too, I got out of the swing of things a bit last month so really want to get back into it! Good luck with your goals x
Erin / Everything Erin
It’s crazy isn’t it?! I hope you’re able to get back into it. Thank you, and you too xx
That sounds like a great to-do list! I’m also needing to e more active on pinterest as well! But I also need to stay on top of my masters work and really focus on that this month!
Thank you, I am so glad you think so! I hope you manage to get on top of it. At least you’ll have all the time in the world to get Pinterest sussed after focusing on your masters, as that’s deffo more important xx
Good luck with your goals for the next month 🙂
Nic | Nic’s Adventures & Bakes
Thank you so much! I hope you have a great month xx
I love creating to-do lists! I find that doing one each day helps to organise my thoughts and I can go through the list and see what I need to do each day. I definitely need to work on promoting my blog more and creating pins for Pinterest!
Me too, they’re so helpful aren’t they?! I’m glad they work for you too. I hope you’re able to get it ticked off xx
Definitely use Twitter for your blog – I only promote 3 posts a day but my traffic increased once I started doing it. And Pinterest graphics do get a lot easier if you use some templates (check out Etsy for some really good and affordable ones). Good luck with your goals 🙂 Lisa x
It’s so useful isn’t it? I can’t believe I didn’t start using it sooner; it definitely drives more traffic than Instagram. I’m glad to hear that. Oooh I’ll have to have a look for sure, thank you! Thank you, and you too! I hope you have a fab month xx
Great post! I hope you get everything done! I want to try and write more blog posts and make more pinterest pins!
Thank you! I’m glad you think so! I hope you’re able to get them both ticked off xx
I swear it was only like, yesterday that it was the beginning of June? Looking forward to seeing what you read next after One Of Us Is Lying! I’m big into fake tanning at the moment too! Hope July is a mega successful month for you!
It really does feel like it haha! Thank you. I really need to get back into it haha! Thank you, and you too xx
Great list – you’ve inspired me to write a July to do list now 🙂
Thank you! I hope you have a great month xx
Love this post! I hope you have a wonderful July and tick off these goals!

Thank you so much! I hope you have a great month too xx
That’s the reason why I won’t buy a Kindle either Hannah! Reading a book does give me the time away from a screen and to be honest, I prefer holding a proper book than the thought of using a Kindle! I hope you manage to get some more blog posts written and make more Pinterest graphics also x
Lucy | http://www.lucymary.co.uk
I couldn’t imagine going from screen to screen to screen. It’s nice to have that time away from electronics. Same here, holding a book is much better than a device. Thank you so much, I hope you have a fab month xx
Other than the fake tanning we have about the same goals for the month! Good luck!
Ah no way! Thank you, and good luck to you too xx
I love reading for the same reason! Screens are so bad for my head so books really help with that. Also so lovely to escape to another world after a hectic day at work!
It’s nice to have that time away from a screen isn’t it? I’m glad it helps you. That is so true xx
So glad I just found this post as I wrote in my latest post about many things you mention here. I find it very important to promote blog posts after you publish them in order to make sure they actually reach your readers. To me Pinterest is one of the main platforms to do so.
lots of love, Miri

Ah no way, I’ll be sure to check it out! That is so true, it’s important to give your posts that push. Pinterest is fab isn’t it?!xx
I really like the idea of a to do list for the month.
I have so much I want to do but I think a list would keep me focussed.
I hope it’s a successful month for you x
I’m glad you think it’s a good idea. It’s a great way to keep you on track. Thank you, and the same for you xx
Great list Hannah! I’ll be working on promoting my blog as self-promotion is something I find really challenging – Twitter definitely helps in that respect haha. Hope you achieve everything you want to achieve this month! 🙂

I don’t know why I’ve struggled more this month at keeping a blog routine than ever before! During lockdown I was quite frequently posting but in June I’ve really struggled haha xx

Good luck with all of your goals! I am trying to catch up on blog post writing this week, it’s so hard to keep on top of everything at the same time xx
Makeup Muddle
Good luck with your to-do list lovely! July seems to be flying by already. I really need to get back on top of writing blog posts too. I had quite a few ready to go but then I’ve not kept up the momentum with it so now I’m running out haha! xx

To-do lists help us get things done! I especially like to write mine down than to type it in my phone. There’s nothing like physically crossing something off a list! Lol. Thanks for sharing your list. Since moving from an island I have gotten lighter which is kind of weird for me. I didn’t need to make an effort to schedule in a tan. It was kind of like…walk around your yard and you’ll end up half a shade darker lol! Perks of living on an island 😂.
On my to-do list is to continue to produce fashion content on my blog and utilize my instagram to promote my blog rather than scrolling through it looking at other photos lol! Have a great Monday doll!

These are all great goals for July! I definitely want to take the time to read more and write more often on my blog too. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I need to start getting round to doing some monthly goals or to-do lists! I’ve definitely started reading more this month and I’ve got a week off next week so I’m planning on getting through quite a few! xx
http://www.iridescentplaces.com
I definitely have some similar goals myself right now – I’m finding blogging really tough to get back into at the moment. I don’t know if that’s because with everything that was going on, it all felt so trivial? I’m determined to find my love for it again so do let me know if you have any tips – or even a blog post would be great!
Musings & More
Ooo great to do list! I kind of put myself on a schedule. And I so need to get back to self tanning. I went to the beach and got a sun burn!
