July To-Do List 2020

Can you tell I’m enjoying writing monthly to-do lists? Another month means another list, and this time it’s July. Can you believe that we’re halfway through the year? It feels mental that we’ve spent most of the year in a global pandemic, but fingers crossed the rest of the year is good to us.

This is my July To-Do List 2020.

Start a New Book

After reading: ‘One of Us is Lying’, it made me realise why I used to enjoy reading so much. It’s a brilliant escape and also gives my eyes a rest from screens which is one reason why I won’t buy a kindle. In my book haul, I mentioned two other books and I really want to start one of them.

Make More Pinterest Graphics

I had a phase on making Pinterest graphics a few months back, but I really want to get back into it. I’m still not really sure what I’m doing, but I know that I need to be posting more often. At the moment I make about four at a time, as it takes me too long to make any more. I’m hoping that it becomes easier with practice and I’ll be banging them out sooner rather than later.

Get Back into Fake Tanning

I never used to be into tanning, but I got into it right before lockdown. Which is bad timing because just as quickly as I got into a routine, I got thrown out of it. It seemed wasteful to apply it to sit at home, so I’ve been walking around like Casper the Ghost for the past few months. As things are slowly getting lifted I want to get into a good routine and have a little bit more practice.

Promote My Blog More Often

In June I started using Twitter regularly to promote my blog and it’s really helped. I never used to use Twitter that often, but I find myself on it everyday and I’m constantly discovering new bloggers, so I’m really enjoying it. I know views aren’t everything, but I want to at least put a little bit of effort into it.

Write Blog Posts Regularly

I kind of fell off the wagon at the end of June, so I’m hoping to get back on it July. Which means writing posts more often, so I don’t run out like I have done before. I know I’ll never be set for months in advance, but a few weeks is always a good feeling. It also helps that I have a lot of ideas at the moment, so I better get on with it.

There we have it! That was my July To-Do List 2020!

What’s on your July To-Do List?

Thank you for reading!

Trying to get into a better routine of writing up my blog posts too! Would love to be able to do Pinterest graphics too as I was really enjoying pinning before lockdown but it was all other people’s stuff haha xx

What a productive to do list! If you’re trying to get into creating Pinterest graphics quicker, I really recommend spending an hour to make some Canva templates you like so you can just drag and drop images into them 🙂 xx

On my July to do list is to take a break from blogging! I’ve been left with complications from Covid and I need to give my body a real chance to heal so I’ll take a few weeks off. I still tan weekly – even if I have to ask my husband to do it! I can’t do Pinterest graphics for the life of me! lol! Best of luck with your goals x

Oh, I feel ya sister! End of July must have been some sort of retrograde period because I also couldn’t be bothered to put any effort towards my blog 😀 So glad to finally be back on it, and I have a whole new appreciation for writing again after some weeks. Although, perhaps it was just time for all of us to have a bit of a break 😉 And now we can return with a whole new gear.

To-do lists help us get things done! I especially like to write mine down than to type it in my phone. There’s nothing like physically crossing something off a list! Lol. Thanks for sharing your list. Since moving from an island I have gotten lighter which is kind of weird for me. I didn’t need to make an effort to schedule in a tan. It was kind of like…walk around your yard and you’ll end up half a shade darker lol! Perks of living on an island 😂.
On my to-do list is to continue to produce fashion content on my blog and utilize my instagram to promote my blog rather than scrolling through it looking at other photos lol! Have a great Monday doll!

Not only is there ice cream, they have: cows, ponies, and a donkey to say hello to🐮

We didn’t stop for food this time, but we’ve made a mental note to come back as everything looked so good!😋

Both kids adore @tractorteduk so I knew this would be a hit, and they spent ages playing!💚

What’s your go to ice cream flavour? This time I went for Raspberry Ripple and White Chocolate M&M’s and it was 10/10😋

A little roundup of things we had in Greece, that wasn’t from the all inclusive buffet😅

Oh and I had to throw in the freddo cappuccino because I’m still thinking about it😋

And my first time ever trying a gyros, when in Greece right🇬🇷

My holiday essentials☀️✈️ Don’t get me wrong, I h My holiday essentials☀️✈️

Don’t get me wrong, I had a full makeup bag just to the side, but these were always out😂

From the iconic @soldejaneiro 62, which always reminds me of holiday to my much loved @charlottetilbury palette 😍

Saying that the @maybelline foundation is new to me and I have been really enjoying it! It has SPF 20 and is great for dry skin✨

What always makes it into your holiday makeup bag?🩵🌺

Also I know the lighting isn’t the best, but we’re going with it😂

Missing mornings like this✨ Current mood: Sitting Missing mornings like this✨

Current mood: Sitting by a pool in Greece sipping a freddo cappuccino😍

Actual reality: Staring at my kettle in the UK wishing it could do magic tricks😭

Is it actually worth investing in a proper coffee machine? And more importantly, which one should I get?

I actually only like iced coffee, so I’m not sure if a machine is for me, but there’s got to be a way… right?😭😂

Real talk family dinner review!🤍 (Gifted/ invite) Real talk family dinner review!🤍
(Gifted/ invite)

We treated the kids to a meal out at weathervanemeirpark this weekend, and the family vibes were lovely. One of the biggest wins was that the staff brought over colouring pages and crayons for both kids without us even having to ask. Which is a lifesaver with two toddlers🥵

Noah and Ella were completely won over by the food. Noah cleared his plate of sausage, chips, and beans, and Ella was living her best life with pasta, corn on the cob, and chips (a toddler dream combo, let’s be real😂)

As for the adults, Jake loved The Big Melt burger. I ordered the Katsu Curry Feast, and we did have a little hiccup where my chicken looked a little pink, but I always judge a place by how they handle mistakes. The staff were absolutely brilliant, replaced it immediately, and even brought over a complimentary drink to apologise. Great customer service honestly makes all the difference.🫶🏻

It’s a super welcoming, stress free spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend.

Swipe to the very end to see Ella making sure no ice cream got left behind😂

What’s your ultimate go to meal when you eat out with the family?🍽️
