Posting on a Thursday? Who am I? I initially wanted this post to go up yesterday, but it wasn’t meant to be. Which means I’m throwing the schedule out of the window and posting today instead. I obviously couldn’t miss my monthly favourites post, as it’s one of my favourite posts to put together.
Let’s get into my June Favourites 2020.
Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 Foundation | Clinique
This foundation is one of my favourites in my collection, which is strange considering I rarely talk about it on here. It’s full coverage and blends out easily without leaving the skin looking cakey. It has more of a luminous finish, as it never accentuates my dry skin, but covers it nicely instead. I have the shade Alabaster which is too dark for me, but I can get away with it in the summer. The only downside is, is that it oxidises; which is shame.
Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit | Anastasia Beverly Hills
This palette has been a rediscovery, as I’m making a conscious effort to cycle through my collection. I have been loving mixing the shades: ‘Forever Lit’, and ‘Glo Getter’, as I find they balance each other out beautifully. Which means it’s not too dark, but not too white either. The highlighters themselves are blinding and you really don’t need to apply much at all.
Fresh | Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash
I have been after a new facial wash to incorporate into my skincare routine for a while now, and then my boyfriend treated me to this bless him. It’s fair to say that I haven’t stopped using it since. I have dry skin that can be sensitive, and this hasn’t aggravated it at all. It’s gentle enough to use everyday and isn’t drying, as I’ve had no problem of my skin feeling tight afterwards. It also smells incredible, so that helps too.
Almond Milk Body Yogurt | The Body Shop
I have finally found my favourite body moisturiser. The Body Yogurts from The Body Shop have an incredible formula that I much prefer to their classic body butters. The body yogurt is lightweight and absorbs quickly, so you aren’t left feeling sticky or waiting around for it to dry. I’m currently working through the Almond scent, but I have a Mango one for backup, as I know I get through them quickly.
One of Us is Lying
This book. I loved every second of it. As soon as I started it I struggled to put it down, as every chapter left me wanting more. It’s an incredibly easy read, as the chapters are short and split into different characters perspectives; which keeps a nice pace. I’m not going to go into detail about the plot, as I know I’ll probably say too much; but I highly recommend this book.
In June I put my head down and planned out my content and experimented with new things. I threw the niche out of the window and decided to post whatever I like. I’ve really enjoyed it too, so it’s been a nice change. I even made my own Tag which I really enjoyed putting together.
Those were my June Favourites 2020.
What were you loving throughout June?
Thank you for reading!
