Project Pan 2023 Final Update

Well I was not expecting this to be the final update, but apparently it’s 2024 already? How did that happen? In all honesty, I’ve been meaning to write this post for a long time, but it kept getting pushed back, and all of a sudden we’re a quarter of the way through 2024 already. I’m not quite sure where the time has gone, but it’s here at last.

If you saw last years project pan then you’ll know not to expect crazy results around here. I thought that I didn’t wear a lot of makeup last year, but I somehow managed to wear less in 2023. I’m a lot more comfortable to leave the house with no makeup on these days, and some days I only have time for the ultimate basics. Which isn’t good news for my project pan or my makeup collection as a whole really…

This is my project pan 2023 final update.

I have barely worn lipstick this year, I’ve been opting for a lip oil or a gloss. I’m still proud that I’ve gotten this far down the bullet, as it’s the most worn lipstick in my collection for sure. I’ll definitely use it up one day, but today is not that day.

Charlotte Tilbury | Flawless Filter

You know what, this stuff haunts me in my dreams. In all fairness I haven’t used it for a while, but it’s STILL GOING. I have been convinced this is about to run out since last years project pan, but here we are.

Fenty | Fu$$y Gloss Bomb

This one is pretty much the same as the flawless filter, but it’s getting more use and I can tell that it’s nearly done. I keep it in my bag and I can see through the tube that it’s nearly empty.

Fenty | Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder

We have an empty! This was one I was expecting to get through, so I’m very happy that it’s gone. I’ve had this in my collection a long time, simply because it never seemed to end. It’s surprising how far 28g can go. I loved this powder, it didn’t settle into any lines, and I never had flashback. I’m glad it’s gone, but it is a brilliant powder.

Maybelline | Fit Me Concealer

Are we really following an empty with another empty? Yes we are! I love this concealer, but as I mentioned in my original post, I really did not need two on the go at once.

ColourPop | That’s Taupe

I included this palette in my project pan, expecting to love it… but I didn’t. It’s too cool toned for me, and I don’t like how it leans purple. I remember snake eyes being a gorgeous taupe, and the version in this palette just isn’t that. Which is a shame, so I’ve barely touched this palette.

Soap and Glory | Supercat Skinny Eyeliner

We have another empty! I’ve loved this eyeliner, and used it for years. However, I have started to notice that it transfers. Which obviously isn’t ideal, so I’m going to be on the hunt for a new one.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Amrezy Highlighter

I am shook by the lack of progress in this. I’ve been using it every time I wear makeup and I don’t think I’m close to seeing a pan. There is a slight dip in it, but I was expecting a lot more.

ColourPop | Koosh Super Shock Shadow

I’m just happy this hasn’t dried out. This is my favourite super shock shadow, and I still love reaching for it. I’ll be pretty sad when it’s gone, as ColourPop don’t sell it anymore.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Dipbrow Gel

We are finishing on a high with another empty! It’s a lovely eyebrow gel, but I’m glad to have it finished and out of my collection.

There we have it, those are all of the products I used up from my 2023 project pan. I did not think I had six things ticked off, so I’m pleased with that!
