The Archive Check: An End-of-Year Empties Clear Out
Looking back at this post from late 2022, I was on a strict mission to get these products wrapped up before the New Year. I wanted a clean slate so that anything in my next round-up would be from 2023.
Even though I only seem to manage about two of these a year, we somehow made it to my eleventh instalment.
Let’s revisit these finished beauty products to see how my final verdicts hold up today!
Soap and Glory | Thick and Fast Mascara
The Original Verdict: I actually realised after taking the photos that I’ve included this mascara in an empties post before. Which is something I usually hate doing. However, because I added this to my Project Pan, I was completely focused on getting it finished. I’m so glad to have it finally out of my collection. It’s not a bad mascara by any means, it’s just not my personal favourite formula as I much prefer Maybelline Lash Sensational.
Repurchase? Not in a hurry.
The Inkey List | Hyaluronic Acid Serum
This product was gifted, but all opinions are my own.
The Original Verdict: I loved this. The lightweight, watery gel formula glides effortlessly over the skin without leaving any sticky or tacky residue behind. Instead, my skin felt instantly hydrated, and the product absorbed in seconds. It’s designed to be layered with other creams and oils, making it a fantastic, fuss free addition to a daily skincare routine.
Repurchase? I have a few other serums to work through first, but I would definitely pick this one up again.
YSL | Libre Perfume
The Original Verdict: Let’s not beat around the bush. I absolutely loved this perfume. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever worked my way through a fragrance quite this quickly before! I felt like I had been on the hunt for a signature scent that I truly adored for a while, and this completely filled that hole. It has gorgeous citrus top and heart notes, balanced beautifully with a warm vanilla and musk base.
If you’d like to hear more, I have a full review.
Repurchase? Definitely. I’m still repurchasing this in 2026, I love it!
Fenty | Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm
Discontinued

The Original Verdict: I included this in my 2021 favourites, and I still love it just as much. The doe foot applicator makes it incredibly easy to whack on, and it leaves the lips feeling instantly hydrated. Once it’s applied it looks just like a high-shine gloss, so it’s lovely to layer over lipsticks. The shade Hint Hint is described as a universal pink sheen, but I would say it applies much more clear than pink.
Repurchase?: I really loved this, and I am sad that it’s gone. The price did put me off though. £18 for a lip balm is a bit steep for me.
Lanolips | 101 Ointment Multi Balm Peach
The Original Verdict: This balm made my original Project Pan lineup, and I’m so glad to say that it’s finally an empty! While it is a very nice, heavy duty balm, I personally prefer something I can just quickly apply and be done with. Because this formula is so thick, the tube requires a bit of work; if you don’t warm the product up between your fingers first, it can really drag across dry lips.
Repurchase? No.
The Final Verdict
There we have it. Empties #11 is officially done and dusted. Ticking off those Project Pan items right before the year ended was incredibly satisfying, and saying goodbye to a fully used perfume is always a bitter sweet moment.
Let’s chat in the comments!
Have you managed to get through any finished beauty products recently before starting a new routine? Are you a fan of the YSL Libre scent, or do you have another holy grail perfume?
Thank you for reading!

I love reading empties! I have honestly never tried any of these products before. I enjoy the Inkey list hyaluronic acid cleanser, so I feel like I would enjoy the serum. Great post!
