I might be a little bit earlier with this, but what can I say? I’m looking forward to Autumn. Summer is one of my favourite months, but as August draws to an end, I am very much looking forward to Autumn settling in.
This is Five Reasons Why I’m Excited for Autumn!
All of the Candles
Are we all in agreement that Autumn scents are the best? Because we should be. I’m looking forward to getting the cosy autumn candles out of the cupboards. I burn candles year round, but there’s something so much better about having one burning when its cold out.
Countdown to Christmas
Autumn might be too soon to start getting excited about Christmas, but that is not going to stop me. I love Christmas, and I might be a bit reckless this year and not leave the shopping until last minute.
Cosy Nights In
Having movie nights in Summer just isn’t the same as when its cold out. When it’s cold out there’s nothing better than getting under the duvet and putting a good film on. Staying in seems a lot more appealing when it’s freezing outside.
The Food!
I love salad as much as the next person, but the food in Autumn is so much better. Coming in from the cold and tucking into a roast dinner is the best. Autumn is definitely a season of comfort food, and I’m not mad about it at all.
The Weather Cooling Down
As much as I’ve loved the hot weather, I can’t wait for the temperature to drop. I really struggle to sleep at night when its hot out, so when it cools down, I should be able to get a full nights sleep; which I am very much looking forward to.

Yes to all of these! I also can’t wait for the leaves to change colour, pumpkin picking and fall outfits. Autumn is my favourite month, so many things to do and of course the countdown to Christmas xx

Yup I am in 100% need of all the candles. I found my bath and body works Autumn candle the other day and it just gave me all the cosy feels! I hope it won’t be a super wet Autumn though (although I don’t mind a rainy sunday every now and again!) xx

I’m sooooo not ready for Autumn! I’ve pretty much been ill all summer and feel like the season has just skipped me by! I like cosy nights with an open fire and candles etc but I much prefer longer days and warmer weather! xx

I blooming love autumn, it’s BY FAR my favourite season. Getting cozy with a hot chocolate with some candles burning away is the epitome of relaxation. I’ve seen that Home Sense have some amazing candles in so I’m going to have to get myself down there.
And Christmas!! I love Christmas. My birthday is in November and I’ve always said that my Christmas starts the day after my birthday haha.

These are all things that I’m looking forward to as well! I don’t think that I can ever have enough fall candles. Even though it is still in the 90s where I live, I may or may not be burning them already!
