I’ve been posting my December bucket list for three years, so I had to make it four. It also helps that it’s one of my favourite things to put together. Some might say it’s up there with favourites posts; if you’ve been here a while then you’ll know all about my love for those. December can a bit of a manic month for me, as there is so much going on. Which means this post comes in handy for keeping me on track.
This is my December Bucket List 2021
Go to a Christmas Market
I really missed visiting a Christmas Market last year, so it’s something I really want to do this year. It’s nice to get outside and see all of the festive stalls and stop for drinks and food. It’s a great way to get into the festive spirit, and this year I think we’re going to try York; which I am very looking forward to.
Try Mulled Wine or Hot Chocolate
This might seem like a strange thing to include, but I don’t like hot drinks. Which means I’ve never really tried either of these before. I’ve been really enjoying trying new things just recently which is why I want to give these a go. Plus there’s not better place to try them than at a Christmas market, so we’ll see how I get on.
Donate to the Local Dogs Home
This is something we did last year, and I’d like to make it a tradition. Ralph is lucky enough to accumulate a lot of toys throughout the year, and he doesn’t play with all of them. Which means they can go to a better home where they’ll get used. I’ve already gone through his stuff and have the bag ready, so hopefully this one can get ticked off quickly.
Do Some Christmas Baking
I’m pretty sure that this makes all of the lists, but it’s my favourite hobby. I haven’t thought about what I’m going to make yet, so I need to start looking through the cookbooks that I have and decide on something. I’ll be sure to document it on my Instagram, as I do all of my bakes.
Get the Wrapping Done Early
I started my shopping pretty early this year, and I want to get it wrapped as soon as possible. As I don’t want to be in a position where I’m rushing through everything because I’ve left it too last minute. Which definitely sounds like something I’d do, to be fair. However I just need to get some tags and I’ll be able to start.
Enjoy Our First Christmas in Our Home
I moved out in January, so this will be the first Christmas in the new house. I’m determined to enjoy it, but I’m not putting the pressure on it. I just want to enjoy it for what it is and whatever happens.
There we have it that was my December bucket list 2021.
Do you have a December bucket list?
