It’s finally October, which means we’re getting fully into Autumn. For someone who suffered with SAD last year, I’m surprisingly looking forward to the colder months. I think it’s because this year I have my own home to decorate and lockdown is no more… well here’s hoping.
These are my September Favourites 2021.
Beauty Bay | Nude 42 Eyeshadow Palette
I don’t normally like the look of large palettes, but this one got me. As a neutral lover, it was hard not to fall for a palette full of nude shades. The quality is amazing, and for £23 it’s really hard to complain. It reminds me of the original Urban Decay naked palette, but that may be the row of blues on the bottom. Which I haven’t used and find to be a random addition. Other than that, I love this palette and always love the end result.
Fenty | Baby Brut Gloss Bomb
I am extremely sad that this gloss was limited edition because I have been loving it. Luckily it looks a little similar to something else I have in my collection, so I’ll be sure to report back if it’s a good dupe. Baby Brut is a light peach with sparkle running through it. I’ve been wearing this over the top of Dancefloor Princess from Charlotte Tilbury, and it’s such a beautiful duo.
ColourPop | Koosh Super Shock Shadow
I’ve just discovered that this isn’t available anymore, but with ColourPop I’m not surprised. They always get rid of the good ones and this is one of my all time favourites. Koosh is a metallic light gold with an icy silver shimmer running through it. This really finishes a look of it, and I love putting it all over the lid.
Ring Fit Adventure
I originally received this for Christmas last year, but the ringcon got lost in the move in January. I’ve looked everywhere and double checked my mums house, but it still hasn’t turned up. In September I made the decision to repurchase, and I don’t regret a thing. This game is definitely my favourite way to exercise and I love that I can tailor the difficulty level. So far I have only used the Adventure Mode, but there are different modes to use.
We Bought a New Bed
This has been something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time, and it has not disappointed. After being undecided on what size to go for we ended up going for a super king, and it’s perfect. For the headboard I knew I wanted something with vertical lines in a neutral colour and the M6 bed warehouse delivered. They had so many options, and weren’t at all pushy. If you’re after a new bed, I’d totally recommend. After searching all evening for new bedding, I discovered Dusk and took full advantage of their sale. I’m just so happy to finally have my dream bed.
Iced Coffee
This might be a strange thing to include, but I’ve never been a coffee drinker. In fact I don’t like hot drinks at all, and I’ve always discarded iced coffee, but now that I’ve tried it; I’m in love. My all time favourite is the iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks. I’ve tried to make my own, but it’s not quite the same.
