I have been loving lipstick at the minute. It’s definitely my favourite part of my makeup routine, and I love experimenting with different colours. When I was approached by Born Pretty to review some of the products, I couldn’t wait to try something new.
Which means this lipstick was gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.
This is my Born Pretty Liphop Lipstick Review.
Even though I got this lipstick through Born Pretty the actual branding is Liphop, which after a bit of googling I’ve found out is a Korean brand.
The Price
This lipstick is priced at $3.99, which converts to £2.62 according to Google. Which means this is very affordable and costs less than my favourite Rimmel lipsticks.
The Packaging
This lipstick comes in a sleek black tube with the logo printed on the bottom half in white letters. It’s nothing fancy and I think for the price you really cannot complain. It feels very similar to the Natural Collection lipsticks, it’s just that this one is black and shaped differently.
The Shade
One thing I dislike about these lipsticks is that they don’t have names. I have the shade 08 and I must admit that I was little shocked when it arrived. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but a vibrant pink was not it. This shade looks electric in the bullet, but once applied it’s not as neon.

The Formula
This is a matte lipstick, but I don’t find it drying at all. Which is a huge bonus for me, as I normally struggle a little with matte formulas. It also lasts a really long time too, due to it being matte. I like to apply it after eating and drinking as it does fade, but it’s nothing noticeable.
