When I published my July Favourites I knew that I would be kicking myself about how close the two got published. Low and behold here I am a few weeks later kicking myself for not being more organised and getting this up sooner. This month was also a little harder to put together, as I’m still loving and consistently using what I featured last month, hence why this post isn’t the longest.
These are my August Favourites 2020
Charlotte Tilbury | Dancefloor Princess Lipstick
I don’t seem to feature lipsticks in my monthly favourites very often, but this one is definitely worth it. I’ve been wearing this lipstick pretty much everyday, as it’s such a comfortable formula and the colour is perfect. Dancefloor Princess is inspired by Kylie Minogue and described as a pop pink. It’s very creamy and feels hydrating on the lips, which means it doesn’t last all day, but I prefer the comfort.
Fenty | Petal Poppin Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush
Contrary to my blog name I’ve never been a blush person. That was until earlier this month when I decided to give it a go and I haven’t looked back. It feels like it’s very hard to go wrong with this blush, as it’s very sheer, but builds nicely. Which means it’s perfect for novices like me. Petal Poppin is a medium pink with a golden shimmer running throughout.
ColourPop | BFF Lippie Pencil
I also need to invest in a sharpener…
It’s been a long time since I’ve consistently used a lip liner, but I have been loving this formula. These are designed to be long wearing and prevent feathering. BFF is a warm nude that goes with pretty much everything. I’m yet to come across a nude shade that doesn’t look good with this.
Glow Recipe | Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream
Coming to an empties post near you very soon.
I’ve dipped my toes into the K-Beauty market before and this moisturiser is another winner. The banana scent is delicious, although artificial and very strong. If you’re sensitive to very strong scents then this is not for you. It absorbs quickly, but makes a great base for makeup which is what I used it for. This moisturiser claims to address: Dehydration, Irritation, Sensitivity, Redness and Stressed out skin.
There we have it those were my August Favourites 2020.
What were you loving throughout August?
