This is my favourite MAC lipstick. Yes, that might be a bold claim, and yes there may be another MAC lipstick out there that I’ll love more, but as of right now this is my all time favourite. The lipstick I am talking about is Faux and it has a Satin finish. If you’re curious about my MAC lipstick collection, I have a post of my full collection!
This is my MAC Lipstick Faux Review!
I love the Satin range, as you get the semi matte finish, and it isn’t drying at all. The colour pay off is amazing too, as you aren’t left swiping for hours trying to build up an opaque colour. It applies really easily, as it is smooth and a little creamy. I also find that it lasts a good 4-5 hours, and that was with eating and drinking, but I would reapply after just to build the colour back up. It also fades nicely, without leaving that horrid ring.
Faux is described as a muted mauve pink, so if you love your nudes then you’ll love this one. It is perfect for everyday, and if I’m ever unsure about a lip colour, this is my safe go to option because it goes with just about anything!

If you’re after a Kardashian esque lipstick then you may want to give this one a try! Or if you love a nude shade in general. I’ve been wearing this for occasions, and day-to-day wear. It’s an amazing all-rounder.
