I know, I know, another bath bomb review. Turns out this blogging everyday thing is kind of hard, so we’re doing back to back bath bomb reviews. Spoiler alert, I don’t think it’ll be the last. So I’m sorry if bath bombs aren’t your thing, but if you’re a Lush fan, then you’re in for a treat.
This is my Lush Christmas Sweater bath bomb review.
What Is It?
Christmas Sweater is new for 2017, and I love how simple and cute it is. Compared to some of the other bath bombs on offer, this one is definitely more muted, but I can see the Christmas sweater inspiration. This one costs £4.50 and takes a while to fully dissolve. It isn’t annoyingly long, as I thought it had finished earlier than it had, but it turns out that half of it sunk after all of the orange came out, and I just hadn’t noticed.

The Scent
I made my Lush order online and I nearly passed on this one because I thought I would hate the scent, but it’s one of my favourites. It contains: Ginger Powder, Clove Bud Oil, Mustard Powder and Coriander Seed Oil. My first thought was: Mustard Powder? No, thank you. It actually smells amazing though, it’s a traditional Christmas scent, as it’s really warm and spicy.
In the Water
As soon as this hits the water it starts fizzing and leaves trails of pink and orange as it goes. I especially love the shade of pink, it’s so vibrant and just beautiful.
However I must admit that I wasn’t a massive fan of the water at the end. It’s more of a deep orange, and I just wasn’t a fan. To be fair, I don’t tend to like bath bombs if the end result isn’t pink or blue. Yellow and orange just tricks my brain into thinking the water is dirty.
This bath bomb did mark the bath, so it needed a clean afterwards. Which always gets a thumbs down from me, but it happens with practically all bath bombs. Luckily it wiped away easily, as I have noticed that some marks are more stubborn than others.

Overall
Even though I didn’t like the end result, the scent saves it. This is my perfect Christmas scent, I want my whole house to smell just like this for the whole of December. Whereas it isn’t my favourite from the festive collection, as I don’t think it comes close to some of the classics. I do still like this one, but it’s nothing extraordinary.
That was my Lush Christmas Sweater Bath Bomb Review.
