I personally love trying new things for my hair, so you can imagine the excitement when I was contacted to try some goodies from John Frieda. I kindly received two Forever Smooth Shampoos and an Extra Strengthening Serum. If you’re after something that will improve the texture and manageability of your hair then look no further!
This range has the prettiest packaging, I love the vibrancy of the purple on the shampoo. The serum is easy to use too, and not hard to get out of the tube.
Let’s get into my John Frieda Frizz Ease Review.
I have colour treated hair, that tangles really easily because it’s quite dry, so as you can imagine it’s not the easiest thing to manage. I have noticed a slight difference with other combos, but nothing groundbreaking. I’m not a hair expert, but since using these products my hair has become so much easier to handle. It might not sound like a lot, but my hair is a nightmare to brush.
The shampoo contains pure Coconut Oil which is one of my favourite things for my hair, as it’s extremely nourishing, and I can really feel the difference. I have colour treated hair and this shampoo doesn’t strip the colour which is a massive bonus, as some hair products can really affect the colour. I have also noticed my hair appears a lot shinier than it did before too.
Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum
I have really gotten into using the serum after I’ve washed my hair. Before squeezing the excess water, I’ll apply one pump of this into my hands and run it through the ends of my hair, as you don’t want to use it on your roots. This serum has been amazing to use with the shampoo. It has also really helped to keep my hair manageable.
I can also imagine this being amazing for taking on holiday. This is because it repels humidity, and I know how much my hair doesn’t get along with the humidity.
Overall if you’re struggling with frizz then this is a range that is worth looking into! I’ve noticed a real difference with this, and my hair feels a lot better, and looks it too.
That was my John Frieda Frizz Ease Review. I also love the Palmers coconut range.
Have you tried this range before?

I used to use a frizz ease spray on wet hair every time I washed it when I was like 17, I swore by it. But now looking back I don’t really know if it did much haha! I need to try it again! Great post xx
