Why hello there, after a little blogging break I am back with another monthly favourites post. I took a little time off from blogging after my last post, but I’m back and of course I had to return with a favourites post. This time I’m going to talk you through some products I was loving throughout September.
Let’s get into my September Favourites 2019.
Wet n Wild | MegaGlo Highlighter Blossom Glow
I don’t know why there isn’t a w on ‘glo’ either. When I first used this I thought it was subtle, but once you get through that top layer it’s very blinding. It builds up easily, but you can easily use a smaller amount if you prefer something subtle. Blossom Glow is described as a silver iridescent silver shimmer, and it’s the perfect colour for my pale skin.
Rimmel | Stay Matte Powder
Now time for an oldie, but a goodie. Since I have dry skin I stopped wearing a lot of powder a while back, but I always found my foundation transferred a lot; which is never ideal. I decided to start using this again, to try and tackle that and it’s been great. Plus it hasn’t made my skin look dry which is why I stopped using it in the first place. It sets my makeup in place, but it’s a shame the packaging is so flimsy.
Nip + Fab | Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
I’ve had these for a while, but stopped using them a while ago. Earlier this month I fell off my skincare routine and my skin was paying the price. I was really struggling with texture, so I decided to use these again and I’m so glad that I did. My skin looks a lot better and I’ve not been using them long, but I’ve already seen results.
Urban Decay | Naked 2 Palette
In my attempt to use different eyeshadows in my collection I’ve pulled out this palette again. I’ve been enjoying all of the cool tones, as it makes a change from all of the warm toned palettes that are going around at the minute. I’ve especially been loving YDK all over the lid and Booty call as a brow bone and inner corner highlight.
Laura Geller | Filter First Foundation
I bought this foundation from Beauty Bay a while ago, only to now learn Beauty Bay don’t stock the brand anymore. You can still get it on QVC. First of all I have the shade Ivory which is a perfect match for me. This foundation is very luminous, so I find that it’s best set with a powder or it does tend to stay a little tacky. It’s medium to full coverage, and doesn’t look cakey.
That was everything I was loving throughout September!
Those were my September Favourites 2019!
Thank you for reading!
I don’t think I’ll ever get over how good the Naked 2 palette is! I’m on my second one, and I still love it just as much as the first time I ever used it way back in the day.
