Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko

Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko

After a good month of not spending any money on makeup in January, February was a little spendy. (To say the least) I also placed a ColourPop order, but that’s getting its own post. Well that’s the plan. In this post, I’ll be going through what I got from Beauty Bay and Kiko.

This is my Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko.

We’ll start off with Beauty Bay, as that order arrived first.

Face Halo | The Modern Makeup Remover

I’ve been seeing these around for a little while and I love the idea. These pads remove makeup and can be washed up to 200 times. They eliminate the need for cotton pads which is huge! I go through cotton pads like they’re going out of fashion. I’m forever needing to go to Boots and stock up. Which obviously isn’t great, as they aren’t brill for the environment. With these you’re supposed to add water and wipe away. I’m looking forward to giving these a go and hopefully they live up to the hype!

Beauty Bay | EYN Nude Shimmer 9 Colour Palette

As soon as I knew Beauty Bay were doing Nude palettes I knew I needed to try something. I love a basic palette, and nude shades are my favourite, so of course this went straight into my basket. These palettes went into early access with Tribe, and of course I was all over it. I was a little undecided on which one to go for, but I ended up with the shimmer palette. Shimmers are my favourite, and as this was only £8 I don’t mind pairing it with other palettes. I have an eyeshadow palette problem anyway, so it’s not like I’m lacking in choices.

Now onto Kiko! I placed this order for the bronzer, as there isn’t a Kiko near me and I really wanted to pick this bronzer up. The delivery however is very expensive. I wasn’t prepared to spend £6.90 on delivery when I could spend  £10.10 on products for free shipping. I know that’s how they get you to spend more money, but for a £3.20 difference I’m happy.

Kiko | Standout Volume Mascara

I’ve heard some good things about the Kiko mascaras so in the end I decided to go for this one. This mascara claims to add volume for full prominent lashes. The formula also contains Tahitian monoi extracts and jojoba oil, which I didn’t know when I purchased it, so it should nourish the lashes too. It’s a fibre brush, as I know some people have a preference.

Kiko | Smart Fusion Lipstick 404 Rosy Biscuit

Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko | Kiko Rosy Biscuit

At first I struggled to pick out something I liked and then I remembered reading this post from Louise. I loved the look of the lipstick, so decided to pick it up myself. Rosy Biscuit looks like a warm peach nude, which will be perfect for everyday wear. These lipsticks don’t last all day, due to the creamy comfortable formula, but for £3.99 it’s okay.

Kiko | Waterflower Magic Bronzer 01 Warm Honey

Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko | Waterflower Bronzer

As soon as I saw this it went straight into my basket. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Kiko bronzers and this one looks absolutely gorgeous. It’s in the prettiest baby pink packaging and inside the compact is the bronzer. The only thing that puts me off is the weird smell, it says it’s delicately scented with Vanilla, but it’s a little strong and weird smelling. It’s a matte powder and looks like the perfect shade.

I was just about to finish with: ‘Well that’s everything!’ Forgetting the ColourPop order which I will be featuring when it arrives. I guess it’s everything for this post though!

That was Makeup Haul | Beauty Bay & Kiko!

Have you got your eye any new makeup?

Thank you for reading!

I got the 2 pan Eyn Nude palette and really like it so far! Also definitely agree with you that all-shimmer palettes get a bad rap but we all have so many brown nudes that it’s easy to mix and match 🙂

Such a great haul full of unique and fun products! I have been super curious about the Face Halo- especially since its Chloe Morello’s product/company! Do you like it so far and does it do a good job at removing makeup?
Also the Kiko Mascara seems like it would do an amazing job at giving nice and full lashes. Thanks for sharing these products with us!

I recently bought the Face Halos and they are brilliant. I cannot praise them enough!
Easy to clean too. I’ve struggled for years to find cleansers/makeup removers to take off my mascara and this does it in one sweep! I was absolutely stunned by how good they are. They leave your skin feeling so fresh, it’s great.

For £3.99 that lipstick is such a bargain, nowadays lip balms cost that much, it’s such a pretty colour. I really need a KIKO store near me!

You picked up some beautiful products! I’ve never seen those makeup remover pads before but they are such a genius idea! I go through so many makeup wipes and cotton pads, and I love the idea of being able to reuse those. The shimmer eyeshadow palette looks beautiful and I love the peachy-pink shade of the lipstick. I hope all these products work out for you!

I REALLY love Kiko lipsticks, they’re so creamy and lovely on the lips. I hate anything that’s too drying, I just end up not using them at all! The magic bronzer design is absolutely gorgeous and I adore the look of that palette. I’m yet to purchase any of the Beauty Bay branded palettes but their colour pairings in them are so fabulous so I doubt it’ll be long until I purchase one!

Really love the idea of those Face Halos, but I’d have to buy a load of them as I use soooo many cotton pads on a daily basis xx

Real talk family dinner review!🤍 (Gifted/ invite) Real talk family dinner review!🤍
(Gifted/ invite)

We treated the kids to a meal out at weathervanemeirpark this weekend, and the family vibes were lovely. One of the biggest wins was that the staff brought over colouring pages and crayons for both kids without us even having to ask. Which is a lifesaver with two toddlers🥵

Noah and Ella were completely won over by the food. Noah cleared his plate of sausage, chips, and beans, and Ella was living her best life with pasta, corn on the cob, and chips (a toddler dream combo, let’s be real😂)

As for the adults, Jake loved The Big Melt burger. I ordered the Katsu Curry Feast, and we did have a little hiccup where my chicken looked a little pink, but I always judge a place by how they handle mistakes. The staff were absolutely brilliant, replaced it immediately, and even brought over a complimentary drink to apologise. Great customer service honestly makes all the difference.🫶🏻

It’s a super welcoming, stress free spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend.

Swipe to the very end to see Ella making sure no ice cream got left behind😂

Yesterday we headed to Drayton Manor for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! 🚂

The highlights:

🎢 We managed to hit all the rides we wanted.

⏱️ Queue times were super manageable—the longest we waited was 30 minutes, which is the absolute limit with a 1 and 3-year-old! 😂

🥵 It was too hot to make it to the zoo this time, but with animal-loving toddlers, we will definitely be back to check it out. 🐯
