I hope you’re all having a great year so far! I’ve spent majority of January being ill in some kind of way, so I’m looking forward to fully getting over it. It’s that time again where I share my 2020 goals. I love these posts, and love sharing my own as I find it motivates me to actually achieve them.
So here we go, these are my 2020 goals!
Lose Weight
I know, I know, this one; again. This time I’m going to take it seriously, as I really want to lose weight. I will admit that I’ve never taken it seriously before and that’s honestly because I never gave it 100%. I’d give it a go, but I never really stuck to anything which of course was never going to do me any favours. I feel like I’ve got the right mindset now, so this should be the year.
Continue to Learn How to Cook
I feel like I did well with cooking in 2019 and I want to carry it through to 2020. Especially with cooking food from scratch, as it always feels more rewarding to have something home cooked. It’s also always good knowing exactly what you’re eating, as you’ve put it all together. This kind of links into the first point too, as I want to start making healthy meals.
Completely Use Up a Powder Product
I got really into ‘hitting pan’ in 2019 and now I want to fully use something up. Even though I want to use something up, I’ve decided against joining a ‘project pan’, as I still like rotating what I use, so it may take me a little longer. It’s just got to a point where I’ve realised that I have too much and I started buying more than what I could use up. Which means it’s time to finally get something gone. I’ve picked powder, as they’re always the harder ones to get through.
Drink Less Fizzy Drinks
There’s not a lot to say about this one really. I need to cut down on the Pepsi Max and drink pretty much anything that isn’t fizzy. I doubt I’ll cut it out completely, but a cut down is needed.
Shop My Stash
I think that’s the term for it. I’ve gotten into a terrible routine of using the same couple of eyeshadow palettes, when I have quite a few. This year I’d like to get some more use out of other palettes and not use the same few time after time. It just seems a shame to have palettes go unused and I’m hoping this encourages me to try something new.
Those are my 2020 goals!
Have you set yourself any goals for the year?
Thank you for reading!
I never seem to have time over Christmas to set my goals so I just aim to have a list by the end of Jan! lol!
Best of luck, I’m sure you’ll smash them! x

Yes, it can be so hard to get goals set just after Christmas and New Year as so much is going on. Thank you so much xx
Yay these are all great goals! I definitely need to cut down on fizzy drinks, I’ve got so bad with it recently! Good luck with everything lovely xx

Thank you so much! It’s such a bad habit, but so hard to get out of too haha! Thank you so much xx
These are great goals for the year ahead, and I hope you achieve them all! I’m really trying to focus on using what I have and buying less too! 🙂
Hope that your week is going well and you have a fun weekend ahead of you 🙂
Away From Blue
Thank you so much! It’s such a good feeling when you rediscover a product. Thank you and the exact same to you too xx
Good luck with all of your goals lovely! I used to be addicted to fizzy drinks – pepsi max in particular, and couldn’t go a day without it but I switched to fruit flavoured sparkling water from Tesco or Aldi, it’s only 45p a bottle and it’s SO nice and I don’t miss pepsi at all! I feel so much healthier for it too xx

Thank you! Pepsi Max is what I’m bad for too. I’ll have to look into those, they sound so good!xx

Thank you! Good luck with yours too!!xx
These are all very nice goals, Hannah. I do have to say that I agree about shopping your own stash more, something I plan on doing more of this year as well xx

Thank you! It’s such a good feeling when you rediscover a product in your collection rather than buying something new xx
These are actually great goals! I’ve been really into shopping my stash as well! I’m just trying to be a lot less wasteful and use up what I already have. I have so much of it! I’m definitely going to product pans as well this year! Great post Hannah xxx

Thank you so much, I’m glad you think so! It’s such a good feeling when you rediscover a product too. Yes, me too, I hope it goes well for you too! Thank you so much xx
These goals are great!. I don’t think ive ever actually used up a powder product, it’s a good one to think about and I really need to learn how to cook… I can’t keep living on pot noodles, ready meals and different variety’s of pasta haha!.
Charlie | http://www.charlieswonderland.co.uk xx
Thank you so much! It’s hard to use up a powder product, as they seem to last forever! Haha that’s what I was living on too, now I’m trying to find the easiest recipes to get started haha!xx
These goals are so great I wish all the best to you to fulfill them successfully
Have a nice day

I love all of your 2020 goals! It is great that you want to grow and improve as a person. YESSS on using up all of your products! It is so important – this is how you lessen waste and make the most out of what you have. Sending you lots of positivity to smash all of your goals!

Thank you so much! Yes, it’s so important to actually use what we own instead of wanting to buy new all of the time. Thank you so much, and the same to you xx
Just know you are going to smash this years set of goals! For your hitting pan and using a power product up you could always then set yourself a Project Pan goal to keep you motivated
Charlotte / Charlotte’s Picks
Thank you! I know project pans are so popular, but I love to rotate what I use too much haha!xx
I love these goals! Using up powder products can be a challenge, they seem to last forever!
Thank you! I know, sometimes it seems like there’s no end, but I’m hoping xx
Yes to these goals! For me it’s keeping fit and healthy and using up products – I’ve been hitting pan on a few products and they’re STILL going months later… I’ve been holding off buying replacements till they’re just about finished!
Thank you! Yes, keeping fit is such a good one. It’s fab that you’ve been hitting pan though! I know what you mean, you think it’s nearly done because you’ve hit pan, but there’s still so much product xx
Loving your goals hun! Continuing your cooking sounds great, can’t wait to read all about how you’ve become a master chef at the end of the year 😉 using up a powder product fully is a great goal haha I never seem to use a whole one! I’m the same with eyeshadow pallets, I use the same two over and over, definitely taking a leaf out of your book on this one.
Good luck with all your goals, I’m sure you’ll smash them 🙂

Thank you! It’s been fab so far, haha thank you, you’ll be seeing me on all of the cooking shows 😉It’s so hard to use up, as they seem to last forever, but I’m hoping to make a good go of it. It’s such a bad habit to get into! I hope you smash your goals too xx
Fab goals! Feel like lose a bit of weight is on most people’s agenda in jan, but you look bloomin fabulous as you are lovely! I love cooking but I’m not exactly the best ha, probably could do with learning some more recipes! Would love to bake as well!

I would love to hear more about ‘shopping your stash’ that’s such a good idea! Imagine how many products you’ve got that don’t get as much love but could end up being your favourite product
Francisca | http://www.franciscarockey.co.uk
These are great goals! I’m also ‘shopping my stash’ this year, with clothes and makeup! I really should learn how to cook too…
Emily | http://emilyunderworld.co.uk
Some great goals you have here! If you don’t know where to start with a Project Pan, I’d say go for a setting powder or a bronzer, maybe one that’s not TOO big at first, as you use quite a lot of product in one go. Blushes and highlighters are way harder to use up (powder ones, anyways) as you really only need the tiniest bit. You can always venture into foundations and concealers and you’ll see that you can finish up a concealer in a few months and a foundation quite fast as well if you use it every single day!
Happy panning 🙂

I’ve also been trying to cut down on fizzy drinks, I feel so much better when I avoid them!

Learning to cook is such a lovely goal! That’s something I need to work on. I’m definitely focusing on using products up rather than constantly buying non-stop.

I think I need to listen to the ‘drink less fizzy drinks’ goal because I have about 2 diet cokes a day!

One of my goals this year was to shop my stash too! I just had way too many products which I wasn’t using but I’m making my way through them now!

I think any goal where saving money is a thing, like hitting pan or shopping your stash, is a great idea, especially in this age of consumerism. We forget what we have! And props for drinking less fizzy drinks! I used to be really into Coke for a long time, and what helped ween them out was drinking seltzer water.

Oh I love hearing about the goals of others! 🙂
Using some products up is also on my list haha. Wish you good luck with reaching them!!
have a great day,

These are such great goals! I want to lose weight too and cut out my Coke Zeros. I drink way too many of those as well lol
These are great! I think for me, a big goal of mine is to separate work and personal. At this moment, I feel like my brain is always thinking about work even when I’m not working and it’s draining haha. Also, more walks outside 🙂
Great post – I really enjoy to hear about what others are working towards. I think for me it’s just trying to improve my mental outlook and really try to not focus on the negatives so much. Wishing you a wonderful new year <3
