My 2020 Goals

I hope you’re all having a great year so far! I’ve spent majority of January being ill in some kind of way, so I’m looking forward to fully getting over it. It’s that time again where I share my 2020 goals. I love these posts, and love sharing my own as I find it motivates me to actually achieve them.

So here we go, these are my 2020 goals!

Lose Weight

I know, I know, this one; again. This time I’m going to take it seriously, as I really want to lose weight. I will admit that I’ve never taken it seriously before and that’s honestly because I never gave it 100%. I’d give it a go, but I never really stuck to anything which of course was never going to do me any favours. I feel like I’ve got the right mindset now, so this should be the year.

Continue to Learn How to Cook

I feel like I did well with cooking in 2019 and I want to carry it through to 2020. Especially with cooking food from scratch, as it always feels more rewarding to have something home cooked. It’s also always good knowing exactly what you’re eating, as you’ve put it all together. This kind of links into the first point too, as I want to start making healthy meals.

Completely Use Up a Powder Product

I got really into ‘hitting pan’ in 2019 and now I want to fully use something up. Even though I want to use something up, I’ve decided against joining a ‘project pan’, as I still like rotating what I use, so it may take me a little longer. It’s just got to a point where I’ve realised that I have too much and I started buying more than what I could use up. Which means it’s time to finally get something gone. I’ve picked powder, as they’re always the harder ones to get through.

Drink Less Fizzy Drinks

There’s not a lot to say about this one really. I need to cut down on the Pepsi Max and drink pretty much anything that isn’t fizzy. I doubt I’ll cut it out completely, but a cut down is needed.

Shop My Stash

I think that’s the term for it. I’ve gotten into a terrible routine of using the same couple of eyeshadow palettes, when I have quite a few. This year I’d like to get some more use out of other palettes and not use the same few time after time. It just seems a shame to have palettes go unused and I’m hoping this encourages me to try something new.

Those are my 2020 goals!

Have you set yourself any goals for the year?

Thank you for reading!

Good luck with all of your goals lovely! I used to be addicted to fizzy drinks – pepsi max in particular, and couldn’t go a day without it but I switched to fruit flavoured sparkling water from Tesco or Aldi, it’s only 45p a bottle and it’s SO nice and I don’t miss pepsi at all! I feel so much healthier for it too xx

Loving your goals hun! Continuing your cooking sounds great, can’t wait to read all about how you’ve become a master chef at the end of the year 😉 using up a powder product fully is a great goal haha I never seem to use a whole one! I’m the same with eyeshadow pallets, I use the same two over and over, definitely taking a leaf out of your book on this one.

Good luck with all your goals, I’m sure you’ll smash them 🙂

Some great goals you have here! If you don’t know where to start with a Project Pan, I’d say go for a setting powder or a bronzer, maybe one that’s not TOO big at first, as you use quite a lot of product in one go. Blushes and highlighters are way harder to use up (powder ones, anyways) as you really only need the tiniest bit. You can always venture into foundations and concealers and you’ll see that you can finish up a concealer in a few months and a foundation quite fast as well if you use it every single day!

    Happy panning 🙂

I think any goal where saving money is a thing, like hitting pan or shopping your stash, is a great idea, especially in this age of consumerism. We forget what we have! And props for drinking less fizzy drinks! I used to be really into Coke for a long time, and what helped ween them out was drinking seltzer water.

Real talk family dinner review!🤍 (Gifted/ invite) Real talk family dinner review!🤍
(Gifted/ invite)

We treated the kids to a meal out at weathervanemeirpark this weekend, and the family vibes were lovely. One of the biggest wins was that the staff brought over colouring pages and crayons for both kids without us even having to ask. Which is a lifesaver with two toddlers🥵

Noah and Ella were completely won over by the food. Noah cleared his plate of sausage, chips, and beans, and Ella was living her best life with pasta, corn on the cob, and chips (a toddler dream combo, let’s be real😂)

As for the adults, Jake loved The Big Melt burger. I ordered the Katsu Curry Feast, and we did have a little hiccup where my chicken looked a little pink, but I always judge a place by how they handle mistakes. The staff were absolutely brilliant, replaced it immediately, and even brought over a complimentary drink to apologise. Great customer service honestly makes all the difference.🫶🏻

It’s a super welcoming, stress free spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend.

Swipe to the very end to see Ella making sure no ice cream got left behind😂
