I thought other than sharing a bunch of activities that I know I won’t be doing. I’d share a list of things that I have been doing whilst at home in isolation. I’m hoping that it inspires you, as I know it can be hard to constantly find things to do. Some days are definitely more difficult than others, but the sooner we get the hang of staying at home, the sooner we should be able to get out.
With that being said this is: Seven Things I Have Been Doing in Isolation to Pass the Time
Disney Plus
If you’re a Disney lover then this is a must. It has pretty much everything, so I’m sure you’ll find something on there. As I’m writing this I currently have the classic Aladdin on in the background. I would also hugely recommend The Imagineering Story, especially if you have a love for the theme parks, it’s just a shame that not all of the episodes are available yet.
Animal Crossing
I know you’re probably fed up of hearing about this, because it seems to be a huge talking point at the moment, but I love it. It’s got such a relaxing atmosphere which is perfect considering everything that is going on in the world at the moment. Plus with it being a slow moving game, it means there is something do everyday.
Taking Ralph For a Walk
I find that it’s essential to get out of the house for the allotted daily exercise, as the fresh air is really beneficial and stops me from going stir crazy. Plus I have to take Ralph out too, as he still needs his walk. I try to keep away from the local shops or anywhere where I know there is going to be multiple people. It’s strange to have to cross the road to avoid people, but I guess it’s necessary.
Reading Other Blogs
Reading other blogs has always been a great inspiration for me, but I have especially loved reading them in the past week. It’s nice to still have something to read whilst all of this is going on. I’d also love some recommendations of bloggers, as I’m always on the lookout.
Focusing on Instagram
I have been really loving Instagram lately, from posting and being active on my stories. Taking and editing photos also takes me quite a bit of time, so it keeps me busy during the day. I’ve just really enjoyed creating content, and sharing parts of my day on my stories. I’ve never really used the feature that much, but I love it now!
Planning Blog Content
As much as I love creating content for Instagram it goes the same for my blog. I’ve enjoyed brainstorming and planning content. I know I took some time off, as I was struggling with inspiration, but after the break I feel like it’s back and I’ve got some ideas planned.
Cooking and Baking
If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen that I have been baking and trying to cook more often. I made chocolate muffins which I shared on the blog in 2018. I’m planning on doing cookies next, as those are my favourite things to bake. With cooking I made my own Carbonara sauce which was delicious. I’m thinking about sharing the recipe here; if that is something you would like to see?
There we have it! That was Seven Things I Have Been Doing in Isolation to Pass the Time. I hope you’ve found this post helpful!

I’m so mad Disney + for not being available here in Colombia. Apparently in a few months. Anyway, those cookies look amazing!
