Well a lot has happened since my last blog post to say the least. In all honesty I planned to have a little time away from blogging, but as the Coronavirus got worse I found that I didn’t have the motivation to write. Now that I’ve had time to process it all, I feel ready to get back to it. Which means another monthly favourites, as we get to the end of March.
These are my March Favourites 2020.
Beauty Bay | EYN Nude 42 Eyeshadow Palette
It is no secret that I love neutral makeup, and this palette is a neutral lovers dream. I must admit that I’m yet to touch the blues at the bottom, but I love all of the other shades that I’ve tried. The mattes are pigmented and blend out easily, but I find that the shimmers work best wet. Even though the shades are pigmented, it’s very hard to go overboard, so it’s best to slowly build up and blend.
Maybelline | Lash Sensational Mascara
This mascara has been my go to for years now. I love how much length this adds to my lashes without clumping. The formula dries quickly, so I find it better to do one eye at a time. I usually pair this with another mascara, as I like to get more volume as well as the length.
The Body Shop | Hand Cream
I don’t want to include a specific scent, as I only have the Christmas scents. However I do highly recommend Mango or Almond Milk and Honey. These hand creams aren’t greasy and dry extremely quickly. Plus now that I’m washing my hands every five minutes, my skin has been really struggling, and this hand cream has been a huge help.
I put off making these for so long, as I always thought pancakes were difficult to make and that the banana aspect wouldn’t taste as good. Boy was I wrong. I have really enjoyed making these, and they have gone down well with everybody who has tried them. I’m hoping to have a recipe up soon, as these are too good not to share.
Animal Crossing New Horizons
It is safe to say that this game was released at the right time. I pre ordered this game and I’ve been playing it ever since it arrived. I’ve played all of the Animal Crossing’s from Wild World, so it’s very nostalgic for me; even if it has gone through changes since then. With New Horizons you have the job of building up a deserted island, and just about everything on the island is customisable which is a huge change from the previous games. I like to take the game slow and find the relaxing atmosphere perfect with everything going on right now.
There we have it! That was my March Favourites 2020. It was kind of hard to put this list together, but I’m glad that I did, as it’s been a massive distraction from everything that has happened this month.
I hope you’re staying safe with everything that’s happening right now.
