I know February is a shorter month, but it feels like I was only writing my January favourites last week. After a slow January, I feel like February picked up, and I’ve had a great month; even if it has gone incredibly quickly. Anyway, let’s get into everything I was loving in February.
These are my February Favourites 2020.
ColourPop | Going Coconuts Eyeshadow Palette
If you’re a neutral lover, then you need this palette. It has everything you need if you like cool toned neutrals, and as it is a smaller palette it’s great for travelling. These shadows have amazing pigment and blend out easily. I find that the shimmers have a bit of fallout, but that doesn’t really bother me, as it’s easy to wipe away. My favourite shades are Palm Reader and Coco Crush.
ColourPop | Horse & Carriage Highlighter
This is the Cinderella highlighter from the recent Disney launch, and it is beautiful. It is described as a champagne pearl and it has warm undertones. The main thing I love about this highlighter is how pigmented it is, as it is blinding. However you can use a smaller amount to achieve a subtle finish, but even when it’s been built up it doesn’t show the skins texture.
Charlotte Tilbury | Bitch Perfect
I mentioned this in another blog post, so I won’t go into too much detail here. Bitch Perfect has been my go to in February, as it has such a comfortable formula. It’s a creamy lipstick, so the lasting power isn’t the best, but I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day. Nude lipsticks are my favourite and this one is a peachy nude, which I find very flattering.
Blackpool
For Christmas I bought tickets for Afternoon Tea in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for my Nan. I know that she loves dancing and afternoon tea, so it was a no brainer to take her there. We went on the 15th, so it was a little stormy, but we spent majority of the day indoors so it wasn’t too bad. Even though my Nan isn’t well enough to be able to get up and dance she loved watching everybody else move around the floor.
Chester Zoo
At the end of February Jake and I went to Chester Zoo, and had an incredible time. I haven’t been to the zoo in years, so I forgot how much I enjoyed it. It’s such a good day out going to look at all of the animals; I would tell you my favourites, but it’s so hard to pick! We dropped on well with the weather too, as it didn’t rain which was nice.
Stylpro Brush Cleaner
Finally let’s finish with something practical. I hate cleaning my makeup brushes, I hate everything about it. That was until I received this for Christmas. It makes cleaning brushes so much easier, and I truly love it. I have the glitter set, which comes with everything you need and two makeup brushes. In order to use this you put your brush in one of the silicone collars, attach to the stylpro, put it in the water, turn it on and that’s it. I know; easy right? It’s simple to use, easy to do, and I don’t think I’ll ever wash my brushes another way.

The lipstick and eyeshadow palette looks absolutely gorgeous and I need that makeup brush cleaner! I don’t clean mine anywhere near enough so to have that would be super handy!

That colourpop palette reminds me a lot of the one from Zoeva that I used to own! I always see Chester Zoo on TV and really want to go there, so glad the bad weather held off for you!!

Such lovely favourites! I love the look of that brush cleaner. I’ve seen it before and have always been interested by it. I hate cleaning my brushes and have been putting it off for way too long now that it’s disgusting how long it’s been. But this tool seems so helpful xx
