It only seems right to post this today, as it’s my birthday. (January 27th) That’s right, I’m now 24, and feeling older than ever. I made one of these posts last year, and thought I’d follow it up with another this year, as I find them fun to put together. Most of the things on this list are going to be simple things, and personal to me rather than a list for everyone to follow.
Also some of this list is me hoping we don’t spend the whole year in lockdown.
This is 25 Things to do Before 25
1 . Make Our House a Home
I can’t wait to get into my house and put all of our finishing touches to it and make it more homely and suited to us.
2. Continue to Lose Weight
I feel so motivated to do it, and I know that it’s doable.
3. Go To allllll of the Bottomless Brunches
They’re the best. Enough said.
4. Use My Planner
Earlier this month I bought a planner and I want this to be the year where I finally use one consistently.
5. Continue to Find My Style
Towards the end of 2020 I started to really make an effort with what I wore and discover what I do, and don’t like. This year I really want to expand on it.
6. Discover More Local Restaurants
With the pandemic local industries are struggling more than ever, and it’s always nice finding nice local restaurants.
7. See More of the UK
I can’t see myself going abroad this year, but there is so much of the UK I haven’t seen and would love to.
8. Up My Blogging Game
I’ve been really enjoying blogging and want to fully get back into it.
9. Save Money
With buying a house my savings are shot, so it’s time to build them up again.
10. Become Better at Replying to Emails
I don’t know why I’m so bad at this, I just get overwhelmed and struggle with it.
11. Read Five Books
Last year the goal was one, and as you can see, I’ve clearly pushed the boat out.
12. Experiment With New Recipes
I love cooking, and I have so many new recipes I want to try, but have never gotten around to.
13. Learn How to Make Cocktails
I never make an effort with drinks, but I’ve seen so many fun recipes out there and I really want to give them a go.
14. Hit Pan on as Much Makeup as I Can
I’m really trying to use my makeup instead of constantly buying new, and I would love to start hitting pan on more products or ideally get something used up completely.
15. Be More Proactive
Am I probably the most laidback anxious person you’ll meet. I know, it’s weird. I’m either one or the other, there’s never an in-between. I really want to start making an effort rather than letting everything happen around me.
16. Try and Keep Up With My Instagram Comments
I always read my Instagram comments, but I know I need to get better at replying.
17. Have a Massive Declutter
I have so much stuff here that I don’t want to take with me to the new house, so I can feel a massive declutter coming on.
18. Create More To-Do Lists
I always get so much more done when I create a list, and I need to get back into it.
19. Try New Foods
When I first got together with Jake as I was trying new foods all of the time and most of them became my favourites. I feel like I’ve gone back to playing it safe, where as I’d love to try more new things.
20. Get as Many Weekends Away in as Possible
I feel like the best memories come from weekends away, and I’ve really missed them, so I’d love to do more.
21. Drink More Water
I often get dehydrated headaches which are not fun, so I definitely need to start doing this one.
22. Find My Signature Scent
Don’t get me wrong I love the perfumes in my collection, but I feel like I’m yet to find the one. If that makes sense.
23. Actually Use the Streaming Services I Pay For
By this I mean Netflix. I always find myself watching something on YouTube, but at the beginning of January I put Netflix on and there is so much on there I want to watch. Even if they have taken Gossip Girl off…
24. Don’t Be Too Hard on Myself
I mentioned this in my 2021 Goals post, and I think it’s super important.
25. Enjoy It
I think if 2020 taught us anything it was to take nothing for granted and enjoy what you have.
There we have it, that is 25 Things to do Before 25.
Do you have a bucket list?
Thank you for reading!

Happy 25th Birthday girl! I remember turning 25 and feeling like I needed to get my shit together. Sounds like you’re ahead of me on that. I think taking more time to do things like drink more water etc. will help so much in the long!
Rosie
Thank you, but it’s actually my 24th birthday! I’ll be 25 next year and this is 25 things I want to get done before then. It seems like such a momental age though!I definitely agree xx
Happy birthday for yesterday! Hope you had a lovely day 🙂 These are some fab things to do before next year. I don’t think I’d make a list like this for myself at the moment because I’m worried I literally won’t be able to do anything due to the pandemic! x
Thank you so much! I know what you mean, and to be honest I doubt that I’ll be able to do everything, but it’s just nice things to look forward to if possible xx
You really should get round to responding those comments on Instagram – did you know that every comment you respond counts as a comment in your statistics too – and it’s a good way to get interaction with your followers 🙂
I know it’s really beneficial isn’t it? I just prioritise posting, and replying DM’s. Deffo need to make a change xx
We love your list, Hannah! We hope that you had the loveliest 24th birthday and that you’ll be able to get all of these checked off before your next one comes around <3 We'll have to add a few of these to our lists too.
xo,
Britney
Thank you so much! I hope they work out for you too xx
What a great list and all very achievable! x
Beautylymin
I am so glad you think so xx
These look like some great goals – I love how there is a mix of everything! I hope that you manage to achieve them all – best of luck. Your mention of bottomless brunches makes me realise how much I’m missing going out for coffees and meals with friends! Hopefully we will be able to go soon.
Paige
I am so glad you think so, and thank you! I hope we don’t have to wait much longer xx
Happy happy birthday to this Aquarius baby! Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating with friends and family, Hannah! I love the idea of making a list of things you want to achieve within a certain time frame. Also congratulations on moving into your new home 😀 xx
Thank you so much! I definitely made the most of it, as we’re still in lockdown in the UK. It’s such a great idea and I’m glad you think so too! Thank you xx
I am going to have to make one of these before my 30th!
Danielle xx
They’re such a good idea xx
I want to get more into cooking because I don’t like it but I want to push myself to get better at it.
I hope it goes well for you! I pushed myself to get into it, and found myself to really enjoy it xx
Love this list! I hope you get to tick everything off before your 25th, I’m sure you will! I’d love to see a few more places in the UK this year, I think going abroad will be off the cards for a while yet but there are so many beautiful places here aren’t there. Good luck with everything lovely xx

Thank you so much xx
It’s a great age to start saving money, I didn’t do it early enough and I regret it.

Thank God I’m not the only one who’s bad at replying to emails! I’m also bad at replying to comments on Instagram lol. I don’t know what it is but I just suck at it! I’m working on hitting pan on as much makeup as I can too. I kept buying more new stuff instead of loving the products I already have!
Netflix has removed Gossip Girls?! Why?! That’s such a stupid move. Good luck with all of your goals this year. You’ve chosen a great mix of achievable goals, so I’m sure you’ll smash it xx
These are so fab! I’m 36 and still absolutely rubbish at replying to e-mails, but I’m also not too hard on myself about such things, so they might actually cancel each other out 😉
Really good idea regarding seeing more of the UK! I remember flying back from New York and we could see London – it struck me how amazing it was and how there were so many parts I hadn’t explored, yet I’m more than happy to fly to another country and explore there instead; it didn’t make sense!
Such a good list! Especially to use the streaming services you pay for… I’m stealing that one!
Hope you had a lovely birthday x
These are awesome goals, girrrl! Keep pushing and grinding and surely you’ll achieve them! Also, don’t forget to take a break sometimes and understand that you can’t do everything at the same time all the time. You’re also human, and you need time to be human. Thanks for sharing! xx
