Is it really this time again? It’s time to set myself some yearly goals and share them with you. I always enjoy putting this post together since I only get to do it once a year. I’m onto my fourth one now, as I started to share them in 2018 and it’s nice to look back and see what I was working towards at the time.
Let’s get into my 2021 goals.
Be More Consistent with My Blog
I thought about setting a number related goal, but at the end of the day I’d rather focus on content than numbers. If I’m happy with my content then that’s all that matters. Don’t get me wrong I’ll still be trying to grow, but I want to put most of my focus into the content and staying up to date with it. As I seemed to spend a lot of time on Instagram in 2020 and found myself really enjoying it, but I want to switch some of that focus to the blog.
Continue to Lose Weight
I feel like I made a good start on this in 2020, but majorly fell off towards the end of the year. Now that I know I can do it, I want to get back to it and lose more. I’m still a long way away from my goal, but I feel much more motivated now.
Make Our House a Home
I feel like I talk about this in all of my recent posts, but in January I should be moving out into my own home with my boyfriend. We were able to save for a house where we don’t need to do much work to it, but there is so much we want to change. I want to make it homely and put our own stamp on it.
Finally Finish Up a Powder Product
This didn’t exactly go to plan in 2020, so I’m hoping that it can happen in 2021. It’s really eye opening to see just how long these products last for, and makes me regret buying so many. I hit pan on a few products last year, so hopefully I can get them finished soon.
Don’t Push Myself TOO Hard
This may sound like a strange one, but I find that I’m prone to burn out because I push myself too much. Instead, I need to learn that it’s okay to not be doing something 24/7 and that it’s okay to take time off. I feel like if I master this one then staying consistent should be a little easier.
There we have it, those are my 2021 goals.

The goal ‘finally finish up a powder product’ proper made me chuckle! I think I’ve only ever finished one bronzer in my life and nothing else! They’re so hard to use up!

Yes! let this year continue off of last year and stop buying so much and using up what I already have! I have hit pan on a lot of shadows this year, since I haven’t bought anything. I have also almost finished my butter bronzer from Physician’s formula. It’s excited cause I get to use up something else in my collection! Happy New Years xx

I want to try being more consistent with my blog as well. I’m still in search of my style and story inspiration since I used to mostly write about my travels, which aren’t happening anymore. But I love resharing stories and thoughts, so I’d like to start doing it more consistently on weekly basis 🙂

These look like great goals to have! I want to be more consistent with my blog this year too – I schedule all my posts in advance so they usually go up on the same day at around the same time, but I don’t have as many written in advance as I would like! Sometimes I’m guilty of finishing them the night before they are posted, and I want to stop that as it’s hard to be able to do that with the kids, haha!
