We’ve been keeping a secret…

We’re having a baby!

I am so excited to finally be able to tell you, that Jake and I will be welcoming our first child in January 2023. We decided to keep it quiet until we reached the second trimester. Which was extremely difficult, and I’m not quite sure how we managed it.

This is why I’ve been so quiet for the last few months, as I can feel a shift in content coming on. The plan is to include a lot more lifestyle posts on here and over on my Instagram, as pretty soon I won’t have the time to spend my weekends snapping photos of makeup.

Anyway enough about that and back to the announcement. We had our first ultrasound on July 8th, and were very surprised to find out that we’re further along than we thought. We went in thinking I’d be around 11-12 weeks, but I’m actually 14. It’s hard to put into words whats going through your head when you see your baby on the screen for the first time; it’s true joy, love and happiness.

I’ll keep this post short and sweet, so I’ll share more about the first trimester in another post. It still feels so surreal, as even after all this time; it still hasn’t sunken in. However is is nice to get out of our bubble and start telling people.

I am also going to carry on posting non pregnancy related things. Which means you don’t need to worry if you aren’t into in this style of content. Also if Pregnancy is a trigger or sensitive subject for you, then please take care of yourself first. Give these posts a miss, as I have plenty of other content for you to check out.

This baby is already so loved, and the countdown to January is officially on!
