MAC Rebel Lipstick Review

I included this lipstick in my wishlist, and I finally got around to getting it. As Autumn is full swing, I decided to finally take the plunge and add it to my collection. This is my MAC Rebel Lipstick Review.

The Colour

It does look quite scary, as it is a deep shade of purple, but don’t let this put you off, as it is more of a berry tone on the lips, but it still has the purple edge to it, which gives it that extra Autumn feel.

The Finish

It is a Satin finish which means that it is a semi matte, so it is highly pigmented and feels a lot smoother than a matte lipstick. It doesn’t last as long as a matte lipstick would. Putting on a lip liner first really helps with how long it lasts.

A Dupe?

As MAC lipsticks aren’t exactly cheap if you love the colour of this, I have seen a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick that looks pretty similar to this, it’s in the shade 30. I haven’t tried it so I can’t guarantee that it is an exact dupe, but it did look pretty similar.

What’s your favourite lip colour for the colder months?

All I could think when I saw this image on Bloglovin' was 'don't get it on your rug, girl!' ha! This is such a cult favourite, I can't believe I'm yet to try it out. My fave this month is MAC's 'Sin' paired with 'Nightmoth' lip liner. It's a super vampy combo and perhaps a little brave, but I'm in love with the colour and finish!

You'd be surprised about how much makeup I've got on that rug without marking it! You should definitely give it a go! I bet they look gorgeous together! x

Love this shade I've heard so much about it, I need to get braver and try more bold shades because they look so nice!
