I finally took the plunge and bought one of the most talked about MAC lipsticks. Rebel is a classic and is definitely seen as a must have for the colder months. As berry tones are always on trend. MAC always draw me in with their extensive colour selection and I’m happy to have this in my collection and it may be up there with one of my favourites.
This is my MAC Rebel lipstick review.
The Colour
This shade is unlike anything else I have in my collection, as I’m usually a neutral lover. Rebel is described as a mid-tonal cream plum, and is a beautiful fuchsia. If you’re after a berry lipstick that isn’t too dark then Rebel is for you. I feel like Rebel is a good place to start if you’re nervous about wearing dark colours.
The Finish
Rebel has a satin finish, which means it has a creamy formula that isn’t too drying. It’s very pigmented, and glides on easily. It’s not the most long lasting lipstick, but thats due to the satin finish. I don’t mind reapplying it throughout the day, as I find it fades away, rather than becoming too dry.
Even though the formula is a little more hydrating, I find that it goes on better if I prep my lips with a scrub and a balm. With it being darker it has a tendency to highlight any dry patches.
The Price
MAC lipsticks are on the higher end of the spectrum, as they cost: £17.50. Which is a shame and puts me off from trying more. I’d much rather spend a bit more to get a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick as those feel a little more luxurious. However MAC lipsticks are classics, and they have some beautiful shades.

This is such a cult favourite, I can't believe I'm yet to try it out. My fave this month is MAC's 'Sin' paired with 'Nightmoth' lip liner. It's a super vampy combo and perhaps a little brave, but I'm in love with the colour and finish!

It's so pretty! x
Love this shade I've heard so much about it, I need to get braver and try more bold shades because they look so nice!
