I Love Writing

I first started my blog, as I’ve always enjoyed writing. Growing up, I’d spend a lot of my time writing stories, but in 2015 I wanted to do something more personal, which meant blogging was a no brainer. Looking back at my earlier posts you wouldn’t believe writing was a hobby of mine, but it’s one of the main reasons I started this blog in the first place.

Learning New Skills

I first started to blog so I had somewhere to write, so you can imagine my reaction when I learnt about everything else that went into it. Over the years I’ve learnt about: photography, SEO and communication. All whilst developing my writing further.

I Always Have Something to Fill my Time

This can be a pro and a con, as blogging never ends. I don’t think I’ve ever been a place where I’ve thought: ‘That’s it now, there’s nothing else to do’. Which I like, as I’m never bored. If I have any downtime, I know blogging has a million tasks ready and waiting for me to do.

The Community

This is up there with one of my favourite things, as it’s nice to be able to talk to a community of people; with similar interests. There are bloggers out there that I feel like I know personally, as I’ve been reading their blogs for years, and it’s always nice to see how they’re doing.

Having a Creative Outlet

I love to be creative, but I didn’t have a way to show it. As I’m not very good at drawing, singing or any of the other traditional ways of creativity. My blog allowed me to write and along with that I learnt about photography, and being creative with the edit. I also love how there are no restrictions, as my blog has ranged from recipes, to bath bomb reviews.
