It’s December 1st which means one thing… it’s Blogmas! Yes, you didn’t misread; I’m attempting Blogmas. If you’re unsure of what Blogmas is; it’s basically positing every day up until Christmas Day. Some people extend it to the whole of December, but for me the last post will be Christmas Eve. As let’s be honest, you’ll be sick of me well before then.
Let’s get into my November Favourites 2016.
Nars | Sheer Glow Foundation

November was the month that I finally tried the cult classic Sheer Glow foundation. ASOS had a 30% discount, so I decided to take the plunge and give it a try. Let’s just say it was worth it, as this foundation found its way into my 2019 February favourites. I have the shade Mont Blanc which is the second lightest and has pink undertones. It has medium coverage, and blends easily.
Makeup Obsession | Ibiza and Moon

I recently reviewed these palettes, so I won’t go into too much detail here. Even though I love the palettes I created, I want to pay special attention to the eyeshadow shade: Ibiza, and highlighter: Moon. Ibiza has been my go to shadow to wear all over the lid, as it is a beautiful chocolatey champagne shimmer. Moon is out of my comfort zone, but I have been loving it. It’s an icy lilac shade, that is extremely pigmented.
Urban Decay | Naked Palette

I think this may be becoming one of my all time favourite palettes. I’m very basic when it comes to eyeshadow, and these are my kind of shades. The shades are on the cooler side, and I’ve come to learn that cool tones have my heart. I find that the shades aren’t too pigmented, but they blend and layer easily.
The Balm | Mary Lou Manizer

This is another product I have a full review on, so I won’t go into too much detail here. I’ve been reaching for this on the days when I want that classic champagne gold highlight. I find this formula to be lovely, as you can apply a minimal amount for a subtle glow, but you can layer it for that blinding finish.
Victoria’s Secret | Strawberries and Champagne Shower Gel
As soon as I spotted the Victoria’s Secret stand in Superdrug, I wanted to add everything to my basket. Unfortunately practically everything had already sold out, but I managed to get a strawberries and champagne shower gel. I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I love the scent. It’s fruity, but not overpowering . As a shower gel it laters really nicely, and the scent lingers for a little while.
Those were my November Favourites 2016.
