2016 Favourites

I may have only purchased this in November, but it has quickly became one of my all time favourite foundations. Mont Blanc is the second lightest shade and it has pink undertones. Contrary to the name, this is more of a medium to full coverage foundation, rather than a sheer one. It also gives the skin a lovely glow, as it has a dewy finish.

Nars | Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla

I originally tried this back in July, but I’m already on my second tube of it. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, as I only use it under my eyes. Which means I’m either using too much, or you don’t get a lot of product. What I love about this concealer is that it doesn’t crease or fade throughout the day. It also does a lovely job at brightening my under eyes.

The Balm | Mary-Lou Manzier 

I feel like I haven’t stopped talking about this highlighter. It is truly a classic a shade that everybody needs in their collection. I won’t go into too much detail here, as I have a full review where you can see how it looks applied. The Mary-Lou Manizer is a golden champagne with warm undertones.

Stila | Kitten Eyeshadow

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this on my blog before, which almost feels like a crime. I mean look at the size of that pan, and I’ll admit that I’m someone who doesn’t hit pan very often. Kitten is a warm beige/ peach with a frosted finish. I really enjoy this shade all over the lid, but it works well as an inner corner highlight too.

MAC | Faux Satin Lipstick

If I had to pick a favourite lipstick from my MAC collection; it would be this one. No doubt about it. It’s the shade I’m always reaching for, as I love everything about it. With it having a satin formula, it has a semi matte finish that isn’t as drying as a matte would be. Faux is described as a mauve pink toned nude, and I won’t go into more detail here, as I have a full review with more information.

Too Faced | Melted Lipsticks

The shade I’ve included here is Chocolate Milkshake, but I’ve been loving the formula in general. These lipsticks have been my favourite product of 2016, as I love everything about them. First of all I love how easy it is to find the shade you’re looking for, as the packaging is the same as the shade. They also apply easily, as you squeeze the tube and the product comes out of the bottom and glides across the lips without any pulling.

Ralph

I couldn’t post my 2016 favourites and not include Ralph. After years and years of wanting a dog, I was finally able to get one in September. I have a Pomeranian, and his name was picked out a long time before he was. I’ve absolutely adored having him around and I can’t wait for all of our future adventures.
