Urban Decay is a brand that I love, I don’t think I’ve tried a product from them that I haven’t liked. Not that long ago they launched one of the biggest lipstick collections with over 100 in different finishes. The finishes include: Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer and Sheer Shimmer. There’s guaranteed to be a lipstick for everyone with that many finishes and 100 to pick from.
This is my Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Collection.
The packaging is a lightweight gun-metal tube with gold detail. The actual lipstick has UD engraved into it too. The lid is a secure fit and closes with a click.
On the UD website some colours seem to be priced at £15 where as others are priced £15.50. I bought most of mine from Feel Unique as they often have sales on with 10% off, which makes them that little bit cheaper.
Mega Matte: An extremely matte formula with no shine, but it will be drying
Comfort Matte: Has a Matte finish, but is slightly hydrating and creamy
Cream: This has a creamy formula which is hydrating
Metallized: Exactly the same as Cream, but with added Shimmer
Sheer: Sheer and Glossy
Sheer Shimmer: Sheer with a little bit of shimmer
I can’t talk about the finish of all of these formulas from personal experience as I haven’t tried them. If I get around to trying them I will report back.
Comfort Matte
I’d say this is my favourite formula, as it’s ideal for me. I prefer lipsticks to be creamy, but not drying and that is essentially what this is. This range definitely fades throughout eating and drinking, but reapplying is no issue.
Backtalk
Backtalk is one of the most popular shades from the entire collection and has had a few mentions on my blog before. This lipstick is a warm mauve, with rosy undertones. It is one of those lipsticks that is perfect for any occasion; if you’re struggling to pick a colour this one is great.
Hitch Hike
This lipstick is one of the newbies in my collection. It is described as a brick rose. Hitch Hike is a dark rosy plum with warm undertones. It is really creamy to apply and wears comfortably.

Cream
Liar
This is the first Urban Decay lipstick that I tried, and I fell in love with the formula instantly. I can get around five hours wear out of this, which I think is insane considering how creamy and comfortable it is. Urban Decay describe Liar as pink nude. It has warm undertones and has hints of pinks and plums.
Ravenswood
This is brand new to my collection and the decision to go with this one might have been slightly influenced by PLL. Plus it’s a beautiful colour, it’s described as a dusty rose with red undertones.

Sheer
Nocturnal \ Lawbreaker
As you may notice the packaging to this lipstick looks different to the other four, and that is because this one is from their Nocturnal range which means its limited edition. It is still available to get from Debenhams (As I’m writing this) Lawbreaker is a muted plum/ brown which is buildable. I wasn’t expecting just how easy this thing is to build, within a couple of swipes it has a decent amount of pigment. It applies smoothly and is hydrating.
So that is my Urban Decay Vice lipstick collection! I love this range, and I definitely think these are strong contender against the MAC lipsticks, especially now these are cheaper. (Yes I know it isn’t by much, but still)
