Last month I struggled to round-up enough favourites to include in a post, but this month there’s been so many that I don’t think I can remember all of them (yes, I should write these things down)
I remember when these first came. It was pretty much impossible to get hold of Sin. I was in Duty Free at the airport and the assistant told me to get the eye shadow. Its the same, but smaller. I of course didn’t listen, because I was thinking about future photography for the blog, but that’s an option. This highlight sits in a really pretty silver packaging with UD on the lid. The highlight it’s self is a beautiful champagne colour, as it is a golden beige type of colour. It is extremely pigmented and lasts all day.
This is a palette that I used the odd shade out of every now and again, and I realised after wanting it so much for so long that I should be using it more. I gave myself a little challenge to create a look from the palette alone, and it actually became my go to! The palette is like any girly girls dream, it’s pink and the pans are in the shape of hearts; what is not to love? These shadows blend really easily, as I never have a problem of applying too much, and they’re all really pigmented.
I’ve heard so many good things about the liquid lipsticks from Kat Von D that I just had to try one out for myself. I decided to go with Lolita, as this is one of the shades that I’ve heard a lot about. Lolita is a warm plum that is an absolutely stunning colour, it is the colour I was wearing in my latest Instagram post, which got lots of compliments, so thank you! It is a matte finish and lasts for ages, I did wear it whilst eating and drinking and that didn’t go so well, as the whole thing ended up having to come off.
This month I have been really practising with lashes, and now I can’t be without them! The two brands I’ve been wearing the most are Ardell and Threads. I’d still say I’m not the best at applying them, but I’m hoping that comes with practise which is why I’m trying to wear them so much. I just love the look of having longer eyelashes, as for some reason I hate applying mascara. I love doing my makeup, but I just don’t have the patience to apply loads of mascara, and as I have short lashes it takes a good couple of coats to get anywhere.
Yes, another food in my favourites that isn’t healthy, but it’s Easter come on. Plus they’ve all gone now anyway, so the healthy eating can commence. This little bag costs £3 which I think is a bargain considering they taste AMAZING. I’m not the biggest chocolate person either, but these are insane.
That is what I have been loving throughout April!
