The months are flying by and it’s time for another favourites post. I’m loving doing these posts, as I’m finding that it challenges me to use different products, so my posts aren’t filled with the same things.
Ever since I got my hands on this, I have been loving creating different looks. Before this palette I had never really experimented with reds, and I have no idea why! I find this palette is amazing for creating looks for during the day, as it is really easy to keep it simple, but then it is just as easy to get a dark smokey eye. These colours are perfect for Summer, and I’ve loved switching it up from the classic bronze/ gold.
This has been the lipstick, that I have been reaching for after using the Naked Heat palette. It is a warm toned peachy nude, that is perfect to wear with stronger eye makeup. I wouldn’t say this is particularly hydrating, as it dries my lips out after a few hours of wear. When first applied it looks a little glossy, but it soon dries down to a Satin finish.
This is a product that I haven’t worn in ages, as I was too busy buying other highlighters and testing them out. Once the spending ban set in, and I sorted through my makeup; I pulled this from the back of the draw to use more often. It is such a classic, and a product that everybody seems to love. It is such a gorgeous light champagne with no chunks of glitter. It can be used for a subtle sheen or built up for a blinding look.
I’ve had this brush for a while, and I can’t believe I’ve never spoken about it before. I’ve been after that ‘perfect’ blending brush, that is perfect for the crease and for blending, but had no luck. Until this brush, honestly I use it every time I do my makeup, as it’s perfect for building colour up, as well as blending it out. I have the one from ‘The Bombshell’ Collection, but you can buy it singly in a different colour. (Which I am about to do)
I have been using this so much lately, especially during the heat wave, as it’s great for a refresher. If you have dry skin then I could not recommend this enough! I use this over makeup, if my face is starting to look a little dry. I wouldn’t say it’s a setting spray, as it’s a little too refreshing. This has been everywhere with me just lately!
As I’m struggling to think of anything else I am going to leave it there! No random food favourites from me this month I’m afraid!
What have you been loving throughout June?
