If there is one thing I have been after for a long time it is Acrylic storage. It is such a simple yet classic way to store makeup and any other bits you would want on display. I was contacted by the lovely people over at Songmics who are within the top 50 sellers on Amazon with the opportunity to try out their 2 tier storage and also hold a giveaway so one of you will be able to get this for absolutely nothing! The rules and how to enter will be at the bottom of this post.
Songmics have an 100% positive rating in the past 12 months with over 14038 reviews in total, and as I mentioned before they are in the top 50 sellers. The products that Songmics produce, range from Acrylic storage to wardrobe dividers and pet carriers, so they do a little bit of everything. The prices are quite reasonable too, as this storage set costs £15.99. They also have a Facebook account which you can check out here!
The storage is 2 in 1, as you can separate the top from the draws underneath, because they aren’t attached, but I have chosen to keep mine together as it takes up less space. I also didn’t notice on the photos of the products, but the handles of the draws have little flowers on which I love and think is a really nice little touch! It does come with black sheets on the bottom of the draws to protect them which I probably should have kept, but I ended up throwing them out without thinking. It doesn’t seem to be a problem though, as there hasn’t been any scratching or marking.
Having this kind of storage has made getting ready so much easier, as I don’t have to start searching through my draw to find what I want, as I can see it clearly in the draws or on the top on display. I also wanted to be careful not to overload the draws, as I find them easier to use when things aren’t piled high which is why some of mine may look a little sparse.
The acrylic is waterproof and moisture-proof too, so it’s safe from any leaks and can also be kept in a bathroom without getting damaged.
In the top part of mine I store: lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, primer, highlighter, individual eye shadows concealer and lip gloss. The top part is super helpful as it has a lot of different compartments to store a wide range of things.
In my top left draw I have some liquid lipsticks.
In the top right draw I have two highlighters, a lip balm and two ColourPop lippie stix.
In the bottom left I have my bronzers.
In the bottom right I have some more powders.
I think part of the beauty of having storage like this is that it is easy to switch things around.
Now on to the giveaway!
