Is it just me or has July dragged? I mean it feels like it has been July for ages and that makes a change from the months flying by. I’m also starting to look forward to Christmas, as it starts to pop in conversations and a few people seem to be mentioning it on social media; yes it might be too soon, but come on, it’s Christmas. Anyway here is a list of things I have been loving throughout July!

Too Faced | Chocolate Bar Palettes
I am terrible for doing the same eye look day after day which is such a waste considering I have so much makeup to experiment with. I have started using the Chocolate Bar palettes from Too faced and experimenting with a few of the colours.
In the original palette I have been loving the shades Marzipan, Hazelnut and Creme Brulee. From the Semi Sweet palette which is the lighter palette out of the two: I have especially been loving: Bon-Bon and Peanut Butter. I tried to use Blueberry Swirl under my eye, but I couldn’t make my mind up on whether I liked it or not, as it sort of looked like I had a black eye.
I have definitely been using the original palette more, but both of them are stunning!
Anastasia Beverly Hills | That Glow – Glow Kit
This is something I’ve had for a while, but it got put on the bottom of the draw, so I never pulled it out as it had way too many things piled on top. I have since had a declutter and pulled this out, and I couldn’t be happier about it. This palette seems to be hard to get a hold of, but the Sun Dipped glow kit looks extremely similar.
Just recently I have been loving golden highlights, so this palette is perfect. I initially got it thinking Sunburst would be my favourite, but Dripping in Gold has ended up being my favourite. Golden Bronze is waaaay too dark, but the other three are gorgeous and are perfect golden highlights. They all apply nicely and feel soft in the pan. I prefer a blinding highlight which is easy to achieve with this, or you can apply a minimal amount for a natural finish.
Kylie Cosmetics | Exposed Lip Gloss
I haven’t worn a gloss in a long time, but I really liked the look of this Kylie one and finally decided to wear it on the day of my mum’s wedding (There will be a full post later on my makeup). I wore this, as I thought it would stop my lips looking dry after an hour. This gloss is extremely pigmented and within one swipe you’re pretty much covered! Exposed is a warm peachy nude that seems to go with anything! I do find the nib to be strange, as it’s small and not the typical doe foot applicator, but a little bit more like something you’d paint your nails with. The colour is gorgeous and this has been great for layering over a lipstick.
The Body Shop | Honey Bronzer 01
I put off buying this for so long, as I thought it would be too light. I wanted a shade in between 1 and 3, but they don’t seem to have a 2 which I find quite strange. This bronzer is light, but I find it great for those days I don’t want anything intense, but saying that it does build to a strong colour. It blends really easily and looks extremely natural; if you are pale then you will love this! They also have a variety of shades, so it is definitely worth looking into. It is a matte bronzer, and not too orange or muddy looking.
My Mum’s Wedding
I could not include this could I? It was a beautiful day. I was the head bridesmaid, and it’s the first wedding I have been apart of. The day seemed to fly by, as we slowly started getting ready at about 11, for the wedding at 4. Everything went right, with gorgeous food, a sweet cart and a selfie mirror instead of the standard photo booth. I also included this in my 2017 favourites!

I’ve not tried anything from kylie cosmetics but the lipgloss does look good! I also love the sound of the chocolate bar palettes, I’ve got the sweet peach palette but I just don’t use it often enough x

So many people have been raving about the too faced palettes lately, and everyone seems to be positive about them. I’ve been wanting to invest in them for a while but seeing everyone’s reviews of them has only increased my need to own these pallettes. I’ve never tried the kylie cosmetics brand at all, but with such mixed reviews, it’s nice to know that not everything she sells is overpriced. It’s extremely rare to find a gloss that stays all day, so this is definitely something I’m going to add to my future wishlist for those days where you need something to stick, like you did on your mum’s wedding day. You all looked gorgeous, by the way!
They are gorgeous palettes and have such wearable shades that they’re great palettes for everyday! Kylie Cosmetics seems very love it or hate it, but some of the things I’ve found to be worth a try! It did need reapplying after the meal, but other than that it was fine! Thank you so much!xx

I always love seeing what’s in your favorites. I have both of the Too Faced chocolate palettes and I love them! I’ve actually put them away because I was hitting pan on some of the shadows! I am now using the modern renaissance palette. You know one thing that you make me crave I had is a highlighting palette! I usually stick to my many Becca highlighters, but you know what? I might just invest in a ABH highlighter palette eventually, aha xxx

I totally agree that July seemed to drag! This is a gorgeous set of favourites – that bronzer is my favourite for days when I wear less makeup, but still want to have a healthy glow and I love the look of that ABH palette. I just got the Body Shop honey bronzer after so many people raving about it for so long. I haven’t decided how I feel about it yet, but the packaging and design in the powder is cute enough that it almost doesn’t matter!
