Blogmas Day 9: Lush Luxury Lush Pud Review

This Christmas bath bomb is such a classic. I think this one was released in 2013, and it’s come back every year, but with a few tweaks along the way too.

This bath bomb has quickly become one of my favourites because it’s a good all-rounder; It smells amazing, doesn’t take ages to dissolve and it looks pretty in the water. I have used some bath bombs that take about 10 minutes to dissolve *cough* Rocket Science *cough*. Instead this one takes a couple of minutes and leaves a trail of beautiful bright colours behind.

Into The Review

If you love the Twilight scent from Lush then you will love this, as it’s the same. If you don’t know what Twilight is, then it is: Lavender Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Tonka Absolute and Benzoin Resinoid. With this combination you are in for one relaxing bath, as the Lavender is really calming. If you’ve had a hard day, or want some time to unwind then this is a great one to use.

Once in the water it releases bright colours of Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Pink straight away. You don’t have to wait around for a layer to dissolve, as you’re thrown straight into bright colours appearing everywhere. The bright colours don’t hang around, and you’re soon left with deep pink water.

Once I finished, I did have to clean the bath. Which was annoying, as the pink didn’t want to come out in some areas, but with a cloth and warm water it soon vanished. If you don’t like having to rinse the bath out after then that is something to consider.

This is one of the more expensive bath bombs at £4.50, but you can always split it in half to use over two baths instead of one.

Overall this is one of my favourite bath bombs, and it will make a perfect gift for Christmas!

Do you like this bath bomb?

Thank you for reading!

I’ve always wanted to try this bath bomb at Christmas because of how beautiful the colours are that it produces! I’ve purchased myself one of their Candy Mountain bubble bars this year and I can’t wait to try it – I was so torn between it and the luxury lush pud so hopefully I will enjoy it! Lovely post x
