Madame President is brand new for Mothers Day this year from LushLush. It’s the most expensive bath bomb from the collection, totalling in at £4.50. Saying that though, it is reasonable compared to the whole collection.
The colours are so vibrant, so this bath bomb stands out right away. It’s sky blue on one side with four white stars, and hot pink on the other with one large gold star.
Lets get into my Lush Madame President Bath Bomb Review!
Like I mentioned in my haul, I’m not too keen on the scent. It grew on me a little, but after being in the bath for five minutes; I couldn’t smell it anymore anyway. It contains: Grapefruit Oil and Petitgrain Oil. This makes for a really fresh fruity scent. As this is the Mother’s Day collection, I wanted my mum’s opinion on the scents too. This was one of her favourites, compared to the rest of the things I got in the haul.
As soon as this hits the water colours start to quickly fizz out. The blue and the pink immediately mix, and you start to get a gorgeous deep purple colour, that only intensifies, as time goes on. This is a quick fizzer, so you don’t have to wait ages for it to dissolve.
In The Water
The end result is a deep Cadbury purple. Yes, I really am comparing the water to a chocolate bar wrapper, but it’s the best match. It also has a gold shimmer running through it, thanks to the gold star on the pink side. Even though there’s a bit of shimmer, it’s not dramatic. I didn’t need to wipe the bath down afterwards, or anything like that.
In conclusion this is a really great bath bomb. I love the colours, and the slight gold shimmer is a nice touch.
