It’s that time of year again. It’s time to reflect on my 2021 goals, and I should probably start thinking of some goals for 2022…
This is 2021 goals how did I get on?
Be More Consistent with my Blog
Well… we’re not starting out too well here. I really enjoyed blogging at the end of last year and beginning of this one. Once I moved I found it incredibly hard to do everything, which is why a lot of my focus has been on Instagram this year. Saying that I’ve been focusing on my blog in December and I’ve been really enjoying putting posts together again. So even though this didn’t go too well in 2021, I have high hopes for 2022.
Continue to Lose Weight
Unfortunately this didn’t go too well either. Like always my weight has fluctuated throughout the year and I am nowhere near where I want to be. It’s hard because I know what to do, but it’s sticking it out in the long run. I feel like I need a complete shake up and find something that sticks.
Make Our House a Home
Finally things are looking up! We’re nowhere near done, but I’m very happy with the changes we’ve made within the first year. It’s kind of crazy to look at the photos from the estate agents to what it looks like now. I’ve got a lot of ideas for future changes, but as for now we definitely need a break after getting the back garden sorted.
Finally Finish Up a Powder Product
I can’t believe I’m saying this… but it’s happened! In December I finally managed to finish the shade Snake Eyes from ColourPop. It feels like it’s been a long time coming, and my mind is blown by how long these products can last for. I would repurchase the shade, but I have it in the That’s Taupe palette, so luckily I don’t need to.
Don’t Push Myself TOO Hard
I’m not too sure what to make of this one. It feels very hit and miss, and I’m finding it hard to reflect on. In some areas I feel it wasn’t successful, but then I didn’t push myself to post on my blog. So I’m not really too sure.
There we have it, that was 2021 Goals How Did I Get On?
Thank you for reading!

Loosing weight is always hard – I know I also struggled with this one. But since my op, I’ve somehow managed to lose 7 pounds! I think I achieved most of my goals for 2021. Although one was to do 10,000 steps a day and I completely failed that one lol. x

It really is, sorry to hear you struggled too. That’s amazing, congrats! Congrats on achieving most of your goals too, that’s huge! Haha, that one does seem like a really hard one!xx
I love how you said that you’re not going to push yourself too hard, that’s something I need to do in 2022! x

I hope you’re able to stick to it!xx
I can’t remember if I even set goals last January – the year was a blur of illness (mainly me, but also family members). I’m in he process of setting goals for 2022 x

I love your goal to finish a powder product, I might just steal that one for myself, I don’t know if I’ve ever finished a bronzer or a blush…

Goals don’t always have to be completed, so long as they serve their purpose of making you try as best as you could in that moment, the outcome doesn’t matter. Not pushing yourself too hard is the perfect goal for a pandemic world :’)
Transforming a house can be really draining… I’ve moved about 3 months ago and there is still a long way to go (could be worse though! I’m surprise at what I’ve accomplished so far). I felt like I needed to see a change every week or I was starting to get sloppy, and I don’t want to have things left to unpack a year from now… but sometimes a break is a much needed thing.
I am definitely the same with a lot of my goals for last year – some things panned out, some things less so! Congratulations on your progress 🙂 x

I love that you did an update on your 2021 goals! I think it’s really important that one of your goals was to not push yourself. We put so much on ourselves and feel we haven’t achieved anything when our goals didn’t go to plan, but see how you’ve achieved so much last year! Here’s to a great 2022 🙂
This is such an interesting post! It might be a bit late, but I’m trying to think of some 2022 goals still and the ‘finish a powder product’ is a very good one – I’ve had an eyeshadow palette for almost 2.5 years now! It’s lasted a long time, but I want to get rid of it as it’s near the expiry date but I feel bad chucking it away when it’s still half full!

2021 has been such a crazy year (which we couldn’t imagine, after 2020!) and during hard times, it’s tougher to stay on track. I haven’t fulfilled all my goals either but every bit of progress deserves to be celebrated! Hope yoou have a wonderful 2022!
