I feel like I have been on the hunt for my signature scent for years now. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got perfumes that I love, but I’ve never felt like I had the one. Look at me talking about perfume like it’s the love of my life. I’ve been searching for a scent that I adore and has lasting power. As I’ve noticed that some of the ones I love don’t last very long on me; looking at you Coco Mademoiselle.
I shared my perfume collection back in 2019, and in 2021 I posted about two new additions. Which means I should probably do an updated collection because it’s looking a little different than it did in 2019.
This is new additions to my perfume collection 2022.
YSL | Libre
This perfume seemed to be everywhere last year. It felt like whenever I was on Instagram I’d come across it numerous times, and it was always getting positive reviews. Somehow Jake managed to read my mind, and got it for me for Christmas. I haven’t tried this one out as much as I have Good Girl, but as I’m sitting here with both perfumes, I think might actually prefer this one. I love how the citrus notes are there, but the vanilla and the musk really tie this down to become such a beautiful scent.
Top Notes: Tangerine, Neroli and Lavender
Heart Notes: Jasmine Sambac and Orange Blossom
Base Notes: White Musk and Vanilla Extract
Carolina Herrera | Good Girl
Whenever I’ve seen a Twitter thread of perfume recommendations, this one comes up again and again. As it seemed so universally loved, I knew I wanted to try it. I was lucky enough to receive two bottles of it for Christmas, and I’ve been wearing it ever since. It’s fruity without being sickly, but as it lingers it becomes more rich. At first I thought this would be a great time night time scent, but it’s perfect for both day and night. Also the lasting power is great, especially as you don’t need to spray too much.
Top Notes: Almond
Heart Notes: Jasmine and Tuberose
Base Notes: Cacao and Tonka Bean
There we have it, that was new additions to my perfume collection 2022.

I am so picky with perfume and all my favourites seem to be discontinued 🙁 my current fave is OUAI Melrose Place, I havent had a sniff of these before! xx
